    I’ve had a great experience living at Windgate at Bountiful Apartments. The community is well kept, quiet, and a really comfortable place to call home. One of the biggest reasons for that is the amazing staff. The manager, Michelle, is absolutely wonderful to work with. She is professional, kind, and always willing to help. Any time I’ve had a question or needed assistance, she has been easy to talk to and quick to respond. She truly cares about the residents and does a great job making sure everything runs smoothly. Joe from maintenance is also incredible. He is very skilled, friendly, and always does excellent work in the apartments. Whenever a repair is needed, he takes care of it quickly and makes sure everything is done right. It’s clear he takes pride in what he does. Overall, Windgate at Bountiful is a great place to live thanks to the hardworking and caring staff. I really appreciate everything Michelle and Joe do to make this community such a positive place to live.

    I had a very negative experience living at these apartments. The first issue I had, is when I went to use their pool, my family had come in from out of town and I walked through the lobby to get to the pool rather than using my key to get into the pool. The manager Michelle walked out and aggressively said in front of my family “Never do that again! where is your key?!” I walked up and explained that I misplaced my key, and figured I’d be allowed to use the pool due to being a resident and I did address the fact that my rent continues to be raised and that’s wrong. She then kicked myself and my entire family out of the pool. The rent I signed on for was around 1,450.00 by the end of my stay the rent was raised to nearly $1,700.00. All residents were also paying $100.00 to a media package we didn’t even have access to. One night, my heater went out completely during winter, and days prior I reached out to maintenance to tell them that I could smell that something was burning in the furnace and they did not come and help. My family had to spend days at a hotel due to not having heat. My wagon was stolen by someone and I had been away from it for only 10 minutes. Police are at the property often. The most unfair and frustrating event is Around $1,300 was stolen from my account by the leasing manager. My rent was paid IN FULL by check at the first of the month- and the property didn’t mark rent as “paid” so their app Flex, deducted the amount. I went directly to Michelle and asked for a refund, and her response was “we don’t do refunds” handle it with Flex. Flex said they would not refund the amount as the Windgate property has the funds. I sent multiple emails frankly demanding they gave my money back and they won’t. I’m a single mom of two and the fact that they wouldn’t refund the money I had already paid was wrong. I do not trust any of the management here. Do not rent from this peppery. I’m beyond grateful to be out of these apartments.

    Five stars for the worst apartment experience of my life. Michelle is the most unwelcoming, rude, to good to help leasing agent (or whatever she is) I have ever met. I understand third party appointment setting can get lost in translation, but that’s beside the point. She was unwelcoming front the moment I stepped into the office. She told me the information I was given “did not matter”, that she was “in the middle of a meeting” and could not help me tour. Gave no indication of wanting to reschedule or help explain how my appointment was missed. She also asked “what I wanted” and to “sit down” in the nastiest tone I have ever heard.. mind you I’ve worked in hospitality business for over 15 years. Also let me say, in my hunt for apartments today. I met two other people who had horrific experiences with her just THIS WEEK. Needless to say, I will tell everyone I know to never lease an apartment from her or this property.

    We've had nothing but a good experience here. It's extremely affordable for people struggling to make ends meet, and the management is incredible. Michelle has been super helpful, extremely friendly, and amazing overall. She's been on top of helping us with service requests and was super welcoming when we first moved in. The grounds in the apartment complex are kept pretty clean and we've had great neighbors throughout living here. Joe, our current maintenance guy, is an absolute beast. He's quick to help, works hard every day, and has been nothing short of incredible. Every time we have him come over to fix any issues, or even just to change the air filter, he's very friendly and gets things done quick. I can't recommend this place enough.
