  They Stole my security deposit, I had to fight them for 2 months to get it and they claimed half was “missing.” If you want to lose your security deposit with no explanation. Live here. If you want to pay $150 per month for parking that locks your car up and makes it inaccessible for hours on end, live here. If you want homeless people in your lobby, live here. If you love the smell of garbage everywhere, live here.

  STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS DO NOT LIVE HERE GET READY TO PAY OUT THE NOSE FOR TERRIBLE SERVICE AND LIVING SPACE Terrible management. Terrible customer service. The most unprofessional management I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. They took $980 of my $1000 security deposit by mysteriously “not accounting” for half of it and saying we never paid it. Then they took the rest from overcharges and made up damages and cleaning fees. Neighbors making noise all hours of the day, you’ll love hearing loud dubstep base boosted music at one am. construction makes noise all hours of the day. Constant fees and nickel and diming from the terrible management. There is Dog shit and piss everywhere in the halls and elevators that doesn’t get cleaned. Have fun paying $150 per month for the parking loft that doesn’t work more than half the time. You need your car for work or an appointment? Sorry it’s broken and that it will be 5 hours until you can use it. With no refunds. And you better pay the $150 per month not a second too late!!! Amenities and maintenance are absolutely abysmal compared to other apartments. Do not move here. I lived here for 2 years and genuinely have absolutely nothing positive to say about it at all.

  I moved into Paperbox Lofts in September and it’s been such a great experience. My floor plan is gorgeous, the natural light and views of downtown are honestly the best part of my day, and the location makes city living feel fun instead of chaotic. It's our own little pocket of the world. What’s surprised me most is the sense of community here — people really look out for each other. It’s incredibly pet-friendly, and my 10-year-old loves sitting on our porch watching all the dogs in the courtyard play. It makes the whole place feel alive. Any time I’ve needed help with anything, the staff has been on it! Dawn especially is a standout — she responds quickly, listens with real empathy, and gets things handled without making it a hassle. She’s also just genuinely cool and easy to talk to! Overall, Paperbox has felt like home in all the ways that matter. I’m really glad we chose it!

  I’ve lived at Paperbox for almost three years now, and I honestly have nothing but great things to say about it! Dawn and her team deserve all the credit—every time I walk into the office, whether I need help with something or just stop by to say hi and grab a drink or snack, they always greet me with a big smile and the warmest energy. You can genuinely feel how much they care. I’ve never experienced this level of hospitality anywhere else, and it’s one of the main reasons I keep renewing my lease. Kenley has been such a lovely addition to the team, and as for Steve (the guy with the blue four-wheeler)—he’s the absolute best! If there were a “Maintenance Guy of the Year” award, he’d have my vote without question. He does everything and never hesitates to help anyone he sees struggling, whether they’re a resident, an Airbnb guest, or just passing through. Honestly, one of the best parts about living in this state has been living here at the Box, and for that, I’ll always be grateful! One of my favorite spots is the veranda by the dog park. I love coming here to sit quietly, reflect, or simply watch my neighbors and their dogs mingle and play. There’s something so calm and comforting about this little corner—it really feels like a small, shared sanctuary for everyone.

  Paperbox lofts is unlike any other property in downtown Salt Lake! I’ve lived in Utah for 4 years and this is BY FAR the best complex I’ve lived at. There’s a huge sense of community here! All of the neighbors get along very well and we all do activities together that makes this place so much fun to live at. If you’re a dog owner Paperbox is heaven! The biggest “dog run” I’ve seen in any property I’ve toured in Utah. All of the dogs here are friendly and get together almost every night to play! Theres even a group chat of all of the dog owners in the neighborhood so we can coordinate play time. All of the amenities are great here and get used frequently! Management here is exceptional! Dawn, the office manager has gone above and beyond for myself and friends that live here. She’s genuine and takes a personal interest in making sure you’re taken care of with whatever you need for your apartment. Steven, head of maintenance is always on top of it and quick to respond! Just great people in general. Paperbox is a gem in downtown Salt Lake City and will always highly recommend it!
