  I’m a disabled guy closing in on the Young side of elderly. Right off I was scared. Never had to look for a place to live by myself. Cognitive problems make it so difficult to read & understand everything. I have trouble with names, but the woman in the office on Tuesday Feb 17th at 530p helped me so much & made me at ease. She marked everything I needed to sign and explained everything to me. I am so thankful when I find businesses and people that care so much they go out of their way, like she did for me. Thank you.

  Kevin the maintenance man is probably the best thing about this place he goes out of his way to help and accommodate people he has to do all the dirty work around there and theirs plenty of that I'm grateful that I got the opportunity to be able to move in here considering my history and all but in the few months I've been there its taken a turn for the worse, their's homeless everywhere and their destroying the property. Strange people in the hallways people smoking Crack in the stairwell I went to take my dog out to the dog run and picked up about 5 syringes laying in the grass and threw them away because I know their's kids around there its a terrible place to live being in recovery seeming how that seems to be the majority of what lives there and is around there, my daughter's more even allowed to come to my apartment because my daughters dad doesn't feel like it's a safe place and that sucks because I worked hard to get where I'm at today and because of things that I have no control over I have to suffer for it, it feels like not much is being done about it either the garage door has been broken for weeks and people can just get in thru the elevator and. Go where they want considering what area it's in I'm shocked their's no security on the property I feel like they would make a huge difference not only that but I witnessed some random persons door being kicked in and that's a scary feeling cause their's not much keeping us safe but a puny little lock. This place could be amazing if they took the right measures to make it better, another problem is their super unorganized. Management is pretty nice and I can tell they try but I feel like more could be done to protect the property and it's residents if they could fix a few things it would be wonderful.

  I am leaving a 5 star for Bri and only Bri!! She is professional and very helpful! The other two ladies are very unprofessional! I called a head of time saying i was coming to sign and they didn’t even have a pen for us to sign! I didn't catch their names but clearly they did not know what was needed to sign and could not answer my Questions! Thankfully I was able to talk to Bri and get all the information needed! I have seen Bri interact with other tenants and she is very sweet and takes her time to get to know us! Thank you Bri for taking the time and not making everything feel so rushed like the other ladies!!

  This place is so unsafe - I’ve seen people smoking in the hallways , there’s always a group of very sketchy people in the back area, my friend that came to visit was scared because those people kept harassing to buy his bag off of him. The place is filthy and the smell of some type of clear tries to mask the smell of pee, cigarettes, or dirty. The parking is terrible I’ve had to park in some of the neighbor hoods near by, and one of the gentleman that lived in one of the houses nearby even said that since these apartment building have opened it’s gotten super unsafe and sketchy. And there’s always this guy here carrying a suitcase who obviously does not live here that just wanders around inside. I do not feel safe in my own home. It’s scary.

  Everyone says that they let anyone live here, this is low income housing, so figure out what's okay with you and what is not before you move in. I feel joy over the fact that this place is giving people a chance. I am one of those people. I've been homeless for 6+ years and I am a felon. If not for this place I wouldnt have a place where I can begin putting my life back together. Alta Vue is taking a risk by being linient with who they rent to, but I do feel they are very prompt to serve an eviction when someone proves unworthy. The office and the maintenance staff are great.
