- DLDonald LaffertySep 8, 20263.0A friend bought a home from Clayton. It’s been 4 months since they delivered it. She is still not in it. They bring the house and unload it and leave. Then she had to wait for someone to set it up. Someone to fix the roof. Someone else to fix the underpinning. Someone else to build a small porch ( porches are suppose to have a roof. This one doesn’t ) The sliding doors were damaged. She had to wait for someone else to to come fix the door. Someone else to put in the flooring. She had to wait until these were done and then call the gas and electric company. I have trouble believing how long it’s been. And she finally has a key and can move in as soon as the electric and gas is hooked up. Why don’t they have people to get it set up sooner. Why am I complaining? We bought a home from Middletown home. When they delivered it they set it up the same day. We moved in, in less then 6 weeks. What takes Clayton Home so long?

- RTRaymond TellerNov 11, 20201.0Have waited a long time for Clayton Homes in Morgantown to compensate me for the mistakes they've made, but apparently that'll never happen. Ordered a house and it was delivered with all the wrong appliances and options. Paid extra for stainless steel appliances and the house came with black appliances. Didn't order a sliding door but got one. Took way too many phone calls and visits to Morgantown to get work done at my house. The day we paid for the house, the manager promised me a 1k gift card to address the appliance mistake. They're too big and too many people involved who handle various aspects of the set up and placement. Stay away from this place.
