  Parking is terrible. There is almost never anywhere to park after 6pm. Try parking on the street next to the building and you’ll get a parking ticket. So you’re telling me on top of $1500 a month for 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom PLUS the initial $75 for the parking sticker to park in the lot, I have to pay to park my car all the way across the street in the city’s lot? It was never this bad before, I wish we had known it would get like this before we renewed our lease.

  I have lived here exactly one year and we have more fire alarms than a college dorm. There is no accountability of why they continue to go off. There are no cameras in this place. Quite often the elevators and hallways smells like Marijuana. The maintenance crew is AMAZING.. The team that keeps the building clean is AMAZING even though the people that live here make it hard for them because some are not very clean. This place was highly recommended and the amount we pay we should have cameras in this high rent complex..

  Building and grounds maintenance are exceptional and well maintained. Pricing is competitive compared to similar locations in Milwaukee or Lake County where I work. Living here is worth the drive.

  Breakwater is a great place to live I absolutely love it , my view is amazing . Plus I have my first balcony so 10/10 for me, staff is outstanding building is always always clean

  Updated Review: I initially had concerns about the availability of electric vehicle charging stations, as they were promised at the time of signing my lease but not yet installed. However, I’m happy to share that the building has since addressed the issue and made things right. Management took the necessary steps to resolve my concerns, and I appreciate their efforts in following through. It’s great to see them committed to improving the resident experience. If you’re considering moving in, I’d still recommend verifying specific amenities, but overall, I’m now satisfied with my experience here. --- I signed my lease in October 2024 after being assured that electric vehicle charging stations would be available. However, upon moving in, I discovered that this amenity was not provided and was told to expect updates in November. As of January, despite multiple follow-ups, the promised charging service has still not been implemented. Additionally, other advertised amenities are either unavailable or not up to standard. The management has been unresponsive to my concerns, and no accommodations or compensations have been offered for the missing services. I advise prospective renters to verify the availability of advertised amenities before signing a lease here.
