  Building and grounds maintenance are exceptional and well maintained. Pricing is competitive compared to similar locations in Milwaukee or Lake County where I work. Living here is worth the drive.

  Breakwater is a great place to live I absolutely love it , my view is amazing . Plus I have my first balcony so 10/10 for me, staff is outstanding building is always always clean

  Great location, just 15 minutes to the 94, and just one block from Main street. The gym is very convenient, package deliveries are well organized, and there is a decent security system installed throughout the entire building, including the garage. The clubhouse is very accessible and the view of the lake and the night sky from there is amazing, which is a great perk for residents without a lake view from their unit. The building is also very pet friendly, and very quiet. Fellow residents are fantastic and generally friendly. Maintenance team are great, consistent and thorough. Management team are top notch, speedy to address questions and concerns, they have a good friendly, approachable and upbeat attitude, and a genuine interest in the overall well-being of both residents and the building. I have been here since April 2025, and I am very pleased, as I really do feel at home here.

  Updated Review: I initially had concerns about the availability of electric vehicle charging stations, as they were promised at the time of signing my lease but not yet installed. However, I’m happy to share that the building has since addressed the issue and made things right. Management took the necessary steps to resolve my concerns, and I appreciate their efforts in following through. It’s great to see them committed to improving the resident experience. If you’re considering moving in, I’d still recommend verifying specific amenities, but overall, I’m now satisfied with my experience here. --- I signed my lease in October 2024 after being assured that electric vehicle charging stations would be available. However, upon moving in, I discovered that this amenity was not provided and was told to expect updates in November. As of January, despite multiple follow-ups, the promised charging service has still not been implemented. Additionally, other advertised amenities are either unavailable or not up to standard. The management has been unresponsive to my concerns, and no accommodations or compensations have been offered for the missing services. I advise prospective renters to verify the availability of advertised amenities before signing a lease here.

  Had the pleasure of touring the residences at Breakwater with Chuck, he was very welcoming upon arrival. Location is incredible being right by the water with plenty of great walking paths. Chuck was very thorough with the process and the tour, I was sold immediately. Just signed my lease today and look forward to being a resident at Breakwater.
