  Very disappointed with the management. The main entry door of my unit was recently left wide open after maintenance, which is a serious security issue. They also charge an extremely high fee if you need to sublease/relet your apartment. Given the high cost of living here, I expected much better attention to resident security and more reasonable policies.

  So far my experiences have been okay. I’m knocking off two stars because everything is so expensive and there are so many hidden fees. For example, our balcony fee which is extra from our rent when it was included in our layout plan. So many extra charges when rent is already expensive to begin with.

  Honestly one of the smoothest move in processes we’ve had. Everyone was so nice and genuinely helpful. The apartments are way nicer than anywhere I lived in college. We’re impressed!

  The building is in transition getting ready for a new group of students this fall and it is still in great shape. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions we had. Before the tour at Chapter at Madison was over my daughter and my wife and I knew this was the place our daughter will call home this fall. Well done to everybody at Chapter Madison, especially Lumi as she was knowledgeable and we can tell she truly cares about her residents.

  As a parent who pays for all the fees, Not very good sign up experience so far. During tour and advertised in web site, they promises $570 or 370 concession per month discount and application waiver if signed in 48 hours- was ONLY reason we signed. Signed endless documents within 48 hours but charges for hidden $79.20 administration fee, master policy fee$15 and registry fee$9?? Changes room type from 4bd/4ba D6 to D3(I don’t know what the differences are nor was explained to me). Even though parent is the one who will be paying all the bills and even with parent over 800 credit score, management denies parent as guarantor and stops talking to parent. Then They expect full 2 months of full payments from student within 7 days(without discount, specifying what $3008 entails!). Omg, These fee descriptions are three pages long, charging for every little things! They think all the students are loaded with money. Now my son is locked into FULL price for 12 months under his name only. If he can’t pay because they refuse to communicate actual payor=parent, are they going to ruin his credit and take student to court? Initial visit is quite different than what was discussed and promised. As a Parent and Payor, I am extremely concerned how they will treat and charge poor students for everything, who are not familiar with these confusing promises crafted by professional sales people. Not a positive experience so far. If you sign up, get ready to pay $4111 within a month unless your income is over 500K with 850 credit score.
