This place is absolutely awful and overpriced, if you can, DO NOT live here!! They have tons of random charges and the management is THE WORST EVER! Ask any residents, 99% would say so.

I have to say it’s going to be my third year in Axton incoming. I have to say this is probably one of the most mismanaged apartment buildings I have ever been in. For the 2nd time this year, I have been misdirected again in my parking space. Many maintenance issues in the building's public areas. I almost got misplaced in my current unit due to the constant management changes. Otherwise, the service for fixing in-unit issues is, by far, the best thing about Axton, as they try to resolve issues the same day and successfully. The contact is not the best because their AI is not the smartest. The area is fine if you prefer to be farther from the campus. It's okay, but it does come with its fair share of problems when entering its doors.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I don’t even know where to begin. I moved in August of 2024 to pieces of my ceiling falling onto my head while sitting on my desk. After contacting multiple different times I was told that I’d have to deal with it because the building needed to “settle,” and that they would put glue to stop the pieces from falling. They added glue and the same day more pieces came down, even their own maintenance man apologized to me and said that the managers should have him doing something better than this. After months of complaining they just stopped showing any interest to fix it. Second, if you thought we had a vending machine you’re wrong for the last year it’s been out of use cause they were doing “remodeling” just for the remodeling to be the exact same thing 😂. Third, if your key fob stops working just know they don’t care. I had to wait 5 days for them to fix my key THAT YOU NEED TO GET INTO ANYTHING in the building and was told that I’d have to use my roommates. I think anybody can think straight and know that I wouldn’t have the same schedule as them which resulted in me not being able to get into my apartment when I needed to, and they showed no help or sympathy whatsoever. The employees and the management are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I’m upset that a lot of these things happened after I chose to resign, but I wouldn’t choose to do it again. This place is literally ran by children. An example of this is the fact that their own employees took place in an event that ruined the pool experience for everyone else. We couldn’t use the pool for a week because glass was broken by and in the pool, but come to find out when that was happening there were actual employees there that let it happen. Now you have to have a wristband and can only have one guest with you. Very unprofessional and I cannot wait until I no longer have to deal with this apartment.

i’ve been waiting in a massive queue to check out for like half an hour. for context, my flight leaves in an hour. i don’t have time for this nonsense! you cannot say you’re open until 6 for checking out if no one is there to actually check people out. this is ridiculous.

I would not recommend living at Axton Madison. The biggest issue throughout my lease was the complete lack of communication. It was nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone. In just one week, I left 12 voicemails trying to resolve an incorrect rent charge of over $750 while I was out of town. I called the front desk, billing, and even maintenance, sent emails and text messages, and received little to no response. Instead of helping fix their billing error, I was served eviction notices while I was actively trying to get someone to respond. Their record-keeping was just as frustrating. They made a huge deal about returning my parking pass, yet after I turned it in, I was still charged for three additional months of parking that I never used. If I hadn't carefully reviewed my statements, I would have paid for charges that were completely incorrect. Maintenance was another constant issue. We were only the second tenants in our apartment, yet our front door wouldn't latch properly from move-in, our dishwasher broke, plumbing issues occurred in both the kitchen and bathroom, and our washing machine failed. To make matters worse, we were charged for several maintenance visits, including fixing the door latch that had never worked properly from the day we moved in. The building itself also had ongoing problems. The community vending machine was out of service for most of the school year, and one of the elevators was down for an entire semester, leaving a large building with only two functioning elevators. Every interaction with the front desk felt like we were inconveniencing them. Instead of receiving helpful customer service, we were often met with rude or dismissive attitudes whenever we had questions or concerns. Living here was far more stressful than it needed to be because of the poor communication, billing mistakes, lack of organization, and repeated maintenance issues. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend Axton Madison to future residents.
