  We have lived here for almost 5 years since the building opened, this building meets all of our needs as we age in place. What we love the most about this community is not having to go out and seek services, we don’t have to drive, they have a shuttle and a private vehicle available to take us places when needed. We don’t have to cook or think about what to cook anymore, all 3 meals are included. Food is great here there is always something on the menu that we like.They have onsite physical therapy and occupational therapy which is very good for us. And we enjoy the many different activities that are offered everyday.

  Hello my name is Anne and I have lived here for a year and a half. I love what this place has to offer! They have lots of fun events, Recreational outings and lots of fun and engaging activities that Duwayne and team provide for us! We have great neighbors in our community. They are very nice and helpful. The concierge services are a great program! On Tuesdays and Thursdays they give us complimentary rides to our doctor appointments, shopping, etc. I love living here it a great place for seniors to live.

  My name is Francis and I have lived here for 4 years I have been very happy here the staff are kind friendly and always willing to help I have made many wonderful friends and we enjoy spending time together and sharing the delicious meals prepared by our chef I specially love going on walks along the trail which was recently renovated by the city of Tukwila I highly recommend Merrill Gardens Tukwila

  I have lived at Merrill Gardens for 6 months and definitely made the right choice in assisted living facilities. Everyone was so cordial and informative from the first time I toured the facility and marketing's communication was excellent as I navigated the move in process. The dining room staff goes above and beyond each day. They remember your name, beverage choices and even how you like your coffee from day one. They also work very hard preparing delicious buffets for a myriad of holidays and festivals. There is a robust calendar of social, physical and mental activities to select from: scenic drives, movies, lectures, exercise classes, trivia and word games, outings to ballgames, festivals, museums, casinos, weekly shopping and much more. There are monthly meetings for the residents with the manger, activities director and head chef to provide feedback and questions in these areas. The entire staff at Merrill Gardens genuinely cares about the residents and makes you feel at home by providing a clean, comfortable and supportive environment. I highly recommend this facility, for it is the people that give you that feeling of home: safety, comfort and belonging.

  My name is June. I moved into Merrill Gardens at Tukwila about 7 months ago. It is the best move I made. I am a single senior from Wisconsin. It is a wonderful place for seniors like me to move in because all of the services they provide. They have wonderful meals 3 times a day and all kinds of activities from exercising to recreational outings to games! I also have my own 1 bedroom apt that I love! I love to bake cookies which I can do and give them to the staff and residents! I recommend this community to anyone looking for a place to live where you can be comfortable and not be pressured. Last but not least I would like to say the staff is the best thing about living here! They are so comforting and really love to help all the residents with all their needs! Thank you!
