Park Rose Care Center is a hidden gem for sure. They ask you at the hospital which facility care center would you like your loved one to go to for follow up care. You look at a paper they give you and see 5 with ratings and I have been to most of them with my mom needing care for falls or her new diagnosis of Alzheimer's. I went for a tour with Admissions Heidi and I was pleasantly surprised how helpful and knowledgeable she was in letting me know what would be happening with my mom's care. Activity team were amazing as well with the caregivers. The staff at Park Rose Care Center demonstrated remarkable kindness and professionalism in their treatment and care of my loved one. What made me pick this place was the way they talked to the residents and seeing how happy there were. They offered a team of PT/ OT for my mom's care which is on site, which was a win. The welcoming from the hospital to the center came at the right time for my mom. Kind people and clean, offering Activities daily which my mom needed at the time. This center should have been way up on the Paper not at the bottom for ratings. I'm happy to say I give them a full review of praise and passion for the things they do for our elderly. As mom got better with OT/ PT she needed more for her care since her Alzheimer's was Factor. They helped with placement for her to a Beautiful memory care unit where she is thriving. Rosemond Family

If you’re looking for a skilled nursing facility in the Tacoma area where your loved one will receive solid care and attention, Park Rose Care Center is definitely worth considering.
The level of care stands out to me. The nursing staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and take the time to make sure residents are comfortable and well cared for. You can tell they’re experienced and take their roles seriously.
The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a calm, supportive atmosphere. It feels structured but still personal, which is important in a skilled nursing setting.

I have to give this establishment five sparkling stars because my month-lonh stay with them was absolutely like being at home. All the nurses, Janet, Ruth, Davina, Beatrice, Idena, and the CNAs were all so kind, thoughtful and helpful. They always greeted me with a warm smile and never acted as if I was a nuisance. I've told my family that when I get too old for them just take me to Park Rose.
Hey there,
Upfront full disclosure I'm being put in a raffle for this review. They didn't say it had to be positive. Ha!
Ok really though this place is Nice. I was in a horrendous facility (Heartwood) before coming here. I became sicker then I've ever been in my life over there at HW. Came to Park Rose to visit a friend and noticed the difference the moment I rolled in the front door! Shortly after, I decided to transfer to Park Rose to finish the therapy HW had been neglecting, and got further then I thought I would. I recovered from my illnesses contracted at HW within 3 months of being at Park Rose.
The gym here is a DREAM high ceilings sky lights, spacious, plenty of equipment, great staff. It's So Inviting. Staff is kind, efficient, and compassionate, you can tell who the people are that really do care, and there are a lot here.
They encourage residents to get up and be active if they are able to. Activities has a lot of great things going. Oh, there's an indoor raised garden bed, which is nice. I've not seen that in any other facility so far. There's a lot more I could say about Park Rose, but in general it's a nice place. I wish I could say thank you to the good folks here but especially thank you to Renee, Angel, and Brandon. They are amazing at what they do, and do it with kindness & compassion.
