Beware: predatory towing apartment complex
My wife's car was towed by the complex even though we have an email saying we could park in the area we parked. I parked my car in a spot that was not reserved and had no maintenance only sign(I have pictures). I had a notice placed on my car that it would be towed. It's unbelievable that a company would target it's own customers to destroy them financially. The manager Mackenzie is rude, condescending and unprofessional and the maintenance guys are complicit. We plan on getting an attorney involved. Also 5+ cars including mine had their windows smashed. No word or help from the complex. They're too busy planning on destroying you to help.
Update: My wife's car window was smashed last night along with another car. Repeated break-ins around this complex.

This used to be a nice place to live that was reasonably priced as affordable housing. That is no longer the case.
When the COVID-19 pandemic began, Targa Real Estate took over the property. There is a rumor among tenants living in the building prior to 2020 that the company told the former landlord they would keep certain workers on staff, nothing was put in writing, and then the newly minted owners promptly fired several staff members.
Although this rumor might be nothing more than speculation, it certainly gels with my personal experience with the company.
The company has made things worse in this building, implemented rent increases during the statewide eviction moratorium, and then implemented 40-50% rent increases on their tenants in a manner that, to the best of my knowledge, violates city and state laws.
People may have lost their jobs, be struggling to find new employment, and be on the verge of homelessness in a region that is increasingly expensive to live in and is facing a massive homelessness crisis, but Targa Real Estate will be there to price gouge them and increase their probability of being evicted.
Don't move here. The units and corresponding rents are overinflated, and the company is an utter nightmare to deal with as a tenant. I believe they break the law. Regardless, they value their tenants so much that they implement 40-50% rent increases during an unprecedented pandemic where close to 1 million people have died. And right before winter too!

Bayside is so wonderful, and Ariana is wonderful! She’s super knowledgeable and so friendly! Landlords can be so awful, but she knows what she’s doing! So refreshing!
I have only been here for 2 weeks, Love it. Just enough renovations to still leave character. Everyone is very friendly , the grounds and views are beautiful. Barbara , Dennis and Maintenance are right on. So excited about the neighborhood, so fun .
