  Overpriced and poorly run. More than once I found dog poop inside the building and left on the stairs for days. Staff communication is poor, sometimes would not hear back from them through email. Staff also seems to come and go as they please rather than being available during their scheduled business hours. But if paying an arm and a leg for rent and utilities, and a staff that doesn’t really seem to care about you or keeping the building clean sounds appealing to you I would definitely recommend this place

  Really enjoy living here! It’s a nice apartment complex. Especially appreciative of the great management. Miguel was very helpful and patient with the move-in process. Our situation was a bit more complicated because of the recent fires. He helped my family out a lot during a stressful time for us & we appreciate the time he took to do this amidst his very busy schedule. Quentin has also been very friendly and informative with any questions we’ve had. Overall I decided to stay at Ironside because of the great management, very appreciative of their time and assistance.

  Disclaimer: The fives stars are for onsite staff, gorgeous building, and the convenient location. I’m genuinely disappointed by the lack of respect and personal responsibility shown by many residents here. This is a luxury apartment community, not a dorm, and unfortunately, some people clearly do not understand the difference. I’m writing this review because it feels like they honestly need a wake up call. I have personally observed residents leave trash, messes, and belongings throughout common areas and simply expect someone else to deal with it. I’ve also witnessed the way onsite management and maintenance are spoken to and treated, often over situations caused by residents themselves. When I first moved in, I remember regularly seeing 4–5 staff members working almost every day. Now, I often see only 1–2 people, so of course the disrespectful attitudes toward management are noticed. Regardless of the reason for staffing changes, treating the people who are there poorly certainly does not make their jobs, or the community, any better. I also was reading some other reviews and the same goes for building access. The apps provided for entry are a convenience and a privilege, not a replacement for your physical key. Phones die and technology has issues. Carrying the physical key you were provided is seriously not that difficult, and forgetting it should not automatically become someone else’s emergency to solve. My advice is just carry it with your phone or your car key and make it your first priority for access. To be clear, I’m not writing this because I receive special treatment, discounts, or benefits from management, that another review liked to speculate on. If anything, I probably pay among the highest rent here. I just simply understand that paying rent doesn’t excuse anyone from being a respectful, responsible, and timely adult. The property itself is beautiful, and from what I have personally seen, the onsite team works hard to keep it that way. It’s incredibly disappointing that the behavior of some residents makes their jobs unnecessarily difficult and takes away from the experience for everyone else. Pick up after yourself, carry your key, respect shared spaces, and treat the people who work here like human beings! With all that being said, it has been a great place to live in when you make your apartment your little home. I love being able to walk to places and experience the beautiful views it has to offer. The amenities are great and are such a rare find, especially in Spokane.

  I couldn’t be happier with Ironside. I moved from SoCal to start law school at Gonzaga- The location, amenities and management have been GREAT. I have a first floor unit, yea during move in it’s a little noisy but other than that it’s pretty quiet all around. My apartment was spotless at move in, my appliances work great, including shower pressure and hot water. I often sit on the rooftop of the clubhouse and walk around the grass to get fresh air all within steps from my door! I also appreciate the security, door entry to everywhere is done with a key fob, I never worry someone’s able to come to my door or if I locked it (because it’s automatic). I also appriciate using the phone app to open the parking gates and mail room, it’s great peace of mind! Every package makes it to me and the other residents spend time placing packages in the right cubby if a mistake happens. shoutout Miguel- it’s rare to have property managers that are so responsive and caring. You can tell he loves his work and takes inquiries seriously, from touring to move in, I had no problems, and he offered help every step of the way. He’s a huge reason I signed and I hope ironside compensates him accordingly!! He does it all with a smile, great guy!

  Apartment rooms are really small. The apartments have poor ventilation so if you don’t have your ac running all the time it gets unbearable. There are some pros however I think the cons are stronger. There is a nice trail by the complex and a decent gym with a basketball court. The yard is pretty but, there is a lot of dog feces. People do not pick up after their dogs even thought there are trash bags for it. Rent is pricey. They change the amenities so don’t be surprised when it happens midway through your lease. There are elevators on one side of the complex so moving in is brutal. The stairways are always hot. They have a nice bbq deck. Also there app that lets you in your apartment and complex crashes every once in a while so make sure you have your physical key or else you will be waiting for hours.
