Apartment rooms are really small. The apartments have poor ventilation so if you don’t have your ac running all the time it gets unbearable. There are some pros however I think the cons are stronger. There is a nice trail by the complex and a decent gym with a basketball court. The yard is pretty but, there is a lot of dog feces. People do not pick up after their dogs even thought there are trash bags for it. Rent is pricey. They change the amenities so don’t be surprised when it happens midway through your lease. There are elevators on one side of the complex so moving in is brutal. The stairways are always hot. They have a nice bbq deck. Also there app that lets you in your apartment and complex crashes every once in a while so make sure you have your physical key or else you will be waiting for hours.

I have been living here for 1 year and a half and just recently signed another year contract, and I just want to say that the recent management switch is horrible!! And the apartments are overpriced for what they are worth! I would like to premise that due to personal challenges, I was stuck signing another 1 year contract with the apartment, I would’ve totally left and left a review after, but with the emotional stress that this apartment has put me through, I think it is only right that I do so, As to most of the reviews on here are 5 stars (probably fake) since when I started living here, they were offering $500 for people to leave a review, but most of the reviews are true as it is a beautiful apartment and gated (the gate is usually broken) for the Spokane downtown area. I myself felt safe in my apartment, and I love the amenities and inviting people over to check out the place. I’d probably say that’s the only best part of the apartment as they are small but cozy. Probably too small if you have pets and kids, also the walls are paper thin as you can hear your neighbors snore, dogs barking, people playing TV, and cabinets banging due to the apartment layout. When I first moved into my apartment, I had put in a maintenance request about my AC working, but the handful of times I had them come over they told me that either wait for a moment, flip the breaker and wait for the AC to reset, drain the fluids out. So I just dealt with my apartment being hot for a year and a half until this year April when I requested another repair for the Ac and they told me that the condenser was broken and had fully drained out. Which is now fixed After a year and a half, multiple maintenance check ups. As someone who works night shift, they also do a lot of maintenance and give you a notice to do so, which is inconvenient, as I have to make time to make sure I attend to when they come in, as the locks are just with fobs so they can just come into the apartment, as to one time, they walked in on me while I was sleeping. If you have maintenance, they do ask if they can come into your apartment. So do keep this in mind if you do not want anybody walking into your apartment. This apartment management loves to hand out eviction notices. When they first were swapping over, I received a notice on the first day of the month and was charged a late fee. Per contract they do not charge you till “before the 6th day” so my friend was on vacation during that month when this happened, which they were unaware of the notice has to pay an extra $150 late fee and they only give out 14 day eviction notices, rather than a 30 days. Which a lot of people in the apartment was either evicted or left due to this. The apartment is super sneaky with their contracts, so I would be careful of reading through it. But for some reason this particular case they were able to just breach contract due to “new management”? Since I renewed my contract for another year, for the past two months-almost 3 I have been getting charged a parking fee which I do not own anymore and a different tenant has been using that parking space as well now, I had also asked one of the office employee and they see that I do not own a parking space, have an email stating that I had removed that parking space off my lease. But somehow they are still charging me $115 for the parking space. I have confronted them about this issue for the last two months, going down to the office, phone call, and emails, but I kept getting redirected that they will contact “management” or someone else, which I use to not have to deal with this with the previous manager. To add to their unprofessionalism, I had dropped off a check for my June (2026) rent and somehow they lost that check, which I was charge for a late fee due to their incompetence of not keeping rent organized. I am so tired of this apartment, if you don’t have the time to deal with all the nonsense and care about your money, avoid this apartment at all cost!!!

So just heads up today the Ironside apartments decided to tell me that they have not received the 200 dollar holding deposit and would not be giving it back to me my question is why did you process the application if you had not received the proper amount the answer they did and they are mad that I posted this review and refused to return the 200 dollars to me. I will be taking them to small claims court to get that 200 dollars even though what a waste of time. They will take your .money if you apply. Okay so the owner responded to my review saying call to discuss except that's a non working number if you don't believe me try to call it. Also they have had my refundable 200 dollars for days now and read in other reviews it's common practice for them to slow mail a check to you instead of just settling the debit correctly hopefully they have changed that bad business practice now here is the original review I am a one hundred percent disabled retired army veteran with zero criminal history and nothing at all on my record but was denied for bad credit even though had 50000 dollars in student loans paid off and no back child support ever. Because of a few items in collections that were the product of a divorce and identity theft they denied me because I didn't pay a car loan that I had consigned on that I actually didn't someone else did in my name but even that was on there I had plenty of income to cover the rent well within the thirty percent rule. I needed to be at those apartments for proximity to my dr. I asked if I could pay double deposit or work something out and they refused to listen I am asking anyone that is considering renewing there lease or starting one to not to. They should not treat veterans or anyone for that matter that way this place has no moral compass and evil in my book

-Fortified like Minas Tirith -Green like the Shire -Well tended as if by Ents -Landlords that actually care for their people, like King Théoden of Rohan after being freed from the influence of Gríma Wormtongue -Lavish amenities like Lothlórien -Community grills for cooking second breakfast, and elevensies. -High tech door locks that open when you speak friend to enter, like the entrance to the Dwarf-city of Khazad-dûm. Hightech lord of the rings land, get in while you can. Property managers on site are incredibly prompt with any responses and remedy anything you need super fast. It's absolute magic.
