I came into the leasing office today to view the property and get some information about renting here and Darius and Grace were super nice and helpful when I arrived, they informed me that tours are by appointment only but Darius was willing to show me the property anyways since he had a little extra time so I wouldn’t have to schedule an appointment and come back. I can’t say enough how appreciative I am to the Cubix staff for all their help and patience today you guys really do have an amazing staff!

What a miserable experience. With an "appointment" I waited 15 minutes in front of their leasing office and kept calling. The office doesn't even open the door for potential tenants. I cannot imagine how bad it will be once someone moves in. No wonder why their ratings are 2.5 stars. Keep in mind one star is minimum.

The Corydon has a really nice courtyard, the apartments & facilities are great, and it’s right on the Burke Gilman with fast access to the light rail. Unfortunately, none of this really matters if you get noisy neighbors. After living here for five months with no issues, three guys moved in above us, and at least one of them is very loud when going about “daily” tasks. He’s also mostly nocturnal, so the noise goes on throughout the night — slamming doors, dropping things, stomping around heavily enough to shake our walls and even rattle the dishes. We’ve been trying to get management to enforce The Corydon’s quiet hours policy which is in the lease, but after seven months it’s become quite clear they are unwilling to do this. I regularly have to leave the apartment at night and go to relatives just to get any sleep. If you want to get sleep at night, I recommend looking elsewhere.

The apartments are fine. I loved mine with granite counter tops, a balcony, morning sunlight streaming through my windows and the rooftop amenities right outside my apartment door.
There are however many negatives to living here,
-parking is expensive (but where is it not expensive in Seattle)
-there was a constant humming noise in my apartment and frequent loud noises on the roof even though I was on the top floor, I could never figure out what it was
-Beware of fruit flies, they must breed in puddles on the roof because the second I opened the screen door, my garbage, plants and whole apartment would be swarming with them, I still have been unable to rid them all even after moving out.
-There are a lot of dogs that bark all the time
-You have to pick up your packages from the office and if it is closed, too bad you have to wait until business hours.
-$100 dollars to replace a key!
Overall I liked living here, the reason for such a low rating is because of how they handled my Move out. I moved out a week before my lease was up to get extra time to clean and avoid all those nasty move out fees. I assumed the carpet would need to be replaced because I have 2 cats and there were a few stains on the carpet. I figured yeah maybe $600-$700 because the apartment was only 560 square feet and was only about 2/3 carpeted. Then all the sudden one day after no word from the Corydon for weeks they send me a move out invoice saying I owe almost $1300 in move out charges. Apparently it cost $1500 to replace the carpet and $200 to repaint. When I asked for an invoice for the carpet they sent me an invoice with a date that was a whole month before I even moved out and that was for more than they had charged me. It was obvious they had just entered my apartment number and a date on some generic invoice. I also have questions about the validity of the company that replaced the carpet. It seems to me that they are making some profit themselves off of this "carpet replacement".
Overall a very negative experience. I will have to pay almost a whole months rent just to settle move out charges with them. I do not recommend living here to anyone.
