They left us without a functional front door for a week. The city cited them. They retaliated about maintenance requests including illegal eviction notices the city forced them to rescind. There is active mold remediation in the building stairwells and constantly standing water in them. They cover the mildew smell with menthol. The ventilation is broken or intentionally disabled in all of the garages except the one by the leasing office. Do not let them fool you there are only two employees on site everyone else is a day laborer or similar. The current manager, Kiah, is confrontational and incompetent. One of the most reactive people I've ever met. Gets defensive about anything uttered in her presence. Will interject into and start yelling about residents personal phone calls in the hallway. Will contact you off the clock to harass you. There are open access gas grills within 5 ft of the building air intakes. They have waste disposal by the same air intake. The east side of the building is even worse. They seem to be attempting to constructively evict the old tenant base so they can do illegal unpermitted fireplace and other renovations while getting around rent increase limits. There are holes in the walls that blow so much air they will blow out a bic lighter. Air flows *in* through all of the exhaust ducts and sprinkler system. Windows do not seal and are warped from the overpressurization to the point you cannot entirely seal them for ac use. Single pane. No UV filtering. I sunburned in my living room. The south side fascade is still plywood because incorrectly built without a proper insulation gap in the wall that rotted through and had to be replaced. There are city records. They never completed the repair. There is still no insulation in the south side wall. You will have building cavity air blowing throughout your apartment to the point you will need to dust 2-3 times per day with windows closed. The maintenance staff is incompetent. Doors have fallen off on me then done so again after "fixed" within an hour. Everything is repaired with paint slathered over it. He installed a toilet, that took months to get replaced when leaking, so poorly that it shifts every time you stand up even for 80lb children. Kitchen sink not even attached to the counter top nor sealed. The dishwasher water runs are wrapped in literal decades old plastics grocery bags you can't even obtain in this state any more. The garbage disposal leaks all over the cabinet underneath. Multiple electrical hazards. Apartments on the sw side are overpressurized while there is no airflow on the other side of building. Building ventilation has been repaired in ways outside of building and fire code. They use some crypto bro system for payments and maintenance requests. It lets them forge completion times of maintenance requests to before they were submitted and does not send responses and cannot be updated with extra information on a ticket. It is one way communication. They fail to maintain safe units for habitation. The bathroom exhaust fans are detached from their ducting from illegal renovations. And just blow into the building cavity. Arbitrarily harass tenants in the hallway. Illegal fees. $100 water bills in 1-2 br apartments. Total fees per month were over 25% of the base rent on average. All of the good reviews you see here are from people who did so as part of agreements to get out of their lease. They refuse to do move in or move out inspections but require you perjure yourself and sign things saying they do. They spend exorbitant on a security contract company that uses literal Nazi imagery in its logos which they've now proudly displayed all over the property garages since hiring while letting the stairwells rot. The elevators break constantly because they've been neglecting repairs their elevator contractor/vender has informed them are necessary for years.

The entire leasing process has been super simple. Kiyah went above and beyond to get me in my place and settled!!! I’ve been referring all of my travel friends to Metropolitan Park. It’s in the perfect location . I can see my job from my bedroom window.

Recently moved for the first time in 12 years and was so very nervous about the process. I have to say, I’ve had such a pleasant experience so far! The staff at Met Park is so kind and responsive. The application and move in process was so unbelievably smooth, Alyx easily answered any questions or concerns I had off the bat. They were so willing to work with me and my situation and I am so grateful. I’ve noticed that when problems arise they have been fixed within a few days, and on site, Kiah and John are a pleasure. They have been nothing but attentive and helpful through the whole move in process and have been available when I have any questions or concerns. So far I am loving my new residence here. The apartment itself, surrounding areas + parks and rooftop view has been such a delight. Thank you so much to the Metropolitan Park Team ✨💚

John with maintenance was great! Had an issue with a flickering light, came in and changed it that day. Very friendly and professional! Alyx was an absolute delight to work with during the signing process and set up. She transferred and Kiah took over. Kiah has also been a ray of sunshine to work with! Very quick to respond and very much professional!

my husband and I moved across country from Tampa Bay FL to Seattle WA. securing an apartment without physically being present to tour the unit and the location was dicey, but wow did Met Park not disappoint. the moment we arrived, we realized we chose the best location. the apartments are conveniently located near the stadium, transit stations, and rest on a quaint dead end with a beautiful botanical garden right on the edge of the international district. the apartment itself was extremely clean and very cute, especially for the price point. we are extremely happy we chose Met Park and look forward to enjoying our new home for the next year, or perhaps longer. I would add that I read all the reviews before signing and I can affirmatively confirm that the primary concerns (package security, etc) have clearly been remedied.
