I lived at AlleySLU/Alley24 for 5 years. For a one bedroom with den, it was in the corner of the building which was very nice for the natural light. Management was always good, responsive and easy to work with.
I loved the unit. Being in the corner and having a window in the den and not paying an astronomical rent was very nice. The building was good but not spectacular which made me feel like its a very good ratio of value to money spent.
Given the layout of the building, doordash and other gig working services get confused and park by the church instead of the alley. Or they go to the South tower instead of the north one. There are some homeless people near the church but I've never had problems with that.
Parking elevator does take you to the corporate side of the building so it is multiple elevator rides/badge swipes to get to your car. Park in the alley for a while if you're unloading your car. Oh and the only way to access your USPS mail after hours is to have a parking badge, though maybe leasing has a workaround for car-free people.
I appreciated that the garage is public so its easy for friends to park in the garage, pay the garage operator $5 per day for weekends and evenings, and come up. They will need you to badge them into the parking lot if they leave after hours, and the badge is different than the apartment fob.
Overall, good building with good amenities in a good location. I feel like I got good value out of it and I appreciated the painless move out experience, especially with Kiki helping with last minute move out logistics. Kiki really helped with making sure I had everything I needed on a fast move out. Thanks!

I want to give a shoutout to Jashar. He went above and beyond for us when our sink started leaking and garbage disposal backed up. He came to fix it even after hours. Solved the problem and fixed the sink and dishwasher in no time! Thank you Jashar :)

Kiki gave me an above and beyond tour of the property! Very clear and concise information regarding amenities , pricing and processes. Kiki listened to all my wants and showed me units that best fit my needs. I will highly consider this community for my upcoming move and you should too :)

I've lived in my unit for a little over five years. Recently, a new restaurant has opened in the space on Thomas Street. The smell of their rotting garbage constantly wafts into my unit. This has been going on for over a month. No resolution has been reached after numerous complaints to the leasing office. You can smell it quite strongly walking through the alley near the leasing office.

I toured Alley South Lake Union while looking for an apartment, and I came away really impressed. The building is modern, clean, and well-maintained with great amenities and well designed floor plans. The location is hard to beat because it’s close to restaurants, shops, and everything else the South Lake Union area has to offer while still feeling like a comfortable place to call home.
What really stood out was the leasing agent Kiki! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel pressured. She made the entire touring experience enjoyable and informative and that is a major difference than what I’ve dealt with on other tours honestly.
If you’re looking for an apartment in South Lake Union, I definitely recommend adding Alley to your list. It’s a beautiful community with a welcoming atmosphere and a team that genuinely cares about helping you find the right home. Happy Hunting!
