I just moved out of Skyline Apartments after living here for over eight years, going from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom during that time. When we first moved in, Skyline was a genuinely nice place to live. The location was great, the property was well maintained, there was no trash lying around, and tenants kept their patios and stairwells clean. Unfortunately, over the years, a lot of that quality has disappeared while the rent has continued to increase. The value just isn't there anymore. Management has also changed over the years and gotten considerably worse. FRAN in the front office can be incredibly difficult to work with and, in my experience, is simply NOT good at customer service. Hope you don't need anything, because getting help can be frustrating. The property was also purchased by private equity, and from a tenant's perspective, the human element that used to exist here feels completely gone. My move-out experience pretty much summed it up. After more than eight years as a tenant, I left my keys at the front office when I moved out. FRAN couldn't find them, and instead of treating it like a simple miscommunication and figuring out what happened, I was told I would be charged for another day. The keys were there. The idea that I should be charged hundreds of dollars because the office couldn't locate them is absolutely ridiculous. That's a perfect example of why I'm leaving this review. After eight years of paying rent and taking care of my apartments, there was no benefit of the doubt, no understanding, just another charge. If I were looking for an apartment today, I would steer clear of Skyline and seriously reconsider anything operated by the same parent company. It is not the place we moved into eight years ago. The rent went up, the quality went down, and the way tenants are treated has changed with it. Stay away. There are better places to live in Redmond

  There are always issues in this complex. I pay for my parking space, but someone keeps parking in my assigned spot. I contacted the office, and they told me they would send an email, but after a few days, the same person parked in my spot again. I called the towing company, but they told me they could not do anything unless the office contacted them. The next day, I went back to the office, and they gave me a paper to put on the car that was taking my parking space. I did that, but it did not solve the problem. A few days later, the same person parked in my spot again. This is the worst service I have experienced. The office does not seem to care and has not taken any effective action to resolve this ongoing issue.

  I have two concerns about this apartment complex. First, teenagers are playing football and riding scooters and bikes between the parked cars, and my car has been hit several times. I have reported this to the office multiple times, but nothing has been done. There is a designated play area, so I do not understand why this is allowed to continue. Second, the maintenance service is very poor. I have submitted several requests, but when parts need to be replaced, they try to repair them instead. In one case, I had to buy the part myself and replace it. I am very disappointed with the management and maintenance service and would like these issues to be taken seriously.
