  ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. We applied for an apartment here, were denied, and were told the deposit we paid during the application process would be refunded. IT HAS BEEN 5–6 MONTHS AND WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR MONEY. FIVE TO SIX MONTHS. For a REFUND that we were already told we were getting. Since then, it has been nothing but excuses, delays, and failed attempts to supposedly mail a check. We have offered MULTIPLE TIMES to simply pick the check up from the leasing office ourselves. Instead, management continued with mailing it. One check was allegedly sent without the correct apartment number, and the replacement tracking information we were provided DOES NOT EVEN WORK. Now management is emailing us asking if we received the refund check. NO. WE HAVE NOT. THAT IS THE ENTIRE PROBLEM. The level of incompetence and lack of urgency is unbelievable. How many times does someone have to ask for money they were already promised? Why has a simple refund taken NEARLY HALF A YEAR? Why are we the ones constantly having to follow up and chase management for our own money? PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE PAYING ANY DEPOSIT OR MONEY UPFRONT TO THIS PROPERTY. Save every receipt. Screenshot every conversation. Keep every email. Based on our experience, you may end up spending MONTHS chasing a refund while being given excuse after excuse. At this point, we don’t want another apology. We don’t want another excuse. We don’t want another useless tracking number. WE WANT THE REFUND THAT WAS PROMISED TO US 5–6 MONTHS AGO. I will update this review publicly when the money is ACTUALLY received. Until then, this is hands down one of the most ridiculous and unprofessional experiences we have ever had with a property management company. 5–6 months without a promised refund is unacceptable. DO BETTER.

  I have been waiting about 2 months now for my deposit to be refunded to me. I have tried to be as understanding as possible as they advised they’re going through System changes and delayed mailing my check by a month without notifying me. I patiently waited for it. I finally called, and was advised that it was mailed about 2 weeks ago to my new address in Washington. I have tried calling multiple times, and when I finally got an answer I was told that they would check in with the manager and advise on my status. It has now been a full week since that call, no follow up has been given. I have tried to call for an update since then, but no answer. I have really tried my best to be patient and understanding since they are very kind. I even offered to pick up the deposit myself at the leasing office. But the fact I have been waiting for my deposit to be refunded without any communication, follow ups or answers to my calls have been demoralizing.

  I’ve toured quite a few apartment communities recently, and many have started to feel similar but The Residences at Stone Creek in Milton truly stood out. The building is brand new, beautifully maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in, which hasn’t been my experience everywhere. Ashley gave me the tour and was professional, approachable, and easy to talk to. The experience felt relaxed and genuine never rushed or pushy which made a big difference. Overall, it was a refreshing and positive experience that made the apartment search process feel far less stressful.
