I moved into my unit with high expectations, but my experience has been extremely frustrating. From the beginning, there were significant issues—nothing in the unit functioned properly for nearly two months. It ultimately took about three months for repairs to be completed, and I had to repeatedly follow up and remind management about what needed fixing.
I was also told this would be a smoke-free property, but that has not been my experience. Residents frequently smoke just outside their units, making it impossible for me to open my windows or use the balcony without being overwhelmed by smoke. As someone with health concerns, this has been especially troubling. I reached out to management multiple times, but received mostly automated responses or was told they would “talk to them,” with no meaningful resolution.
Additionally, I was incorrectly charged $900 in late fees despite never missing a payment. It took several in-person visits to resolve the issue, only for it to be traced back to an error from when I first moved in.
Overall, the lack of timely maintenance, poor communication, and billing errors have made this a very disappointing experience.
Getting Better with the new management, quick to fix things, units are kept up to date!!
I love living at Maple Crossing. it's affordable, and staff is friendly, and responsive. I love my apartment, and like a lot of my neighbors I expect I will stay here for many years.
Manager doesn’t care about to keep the place clean at all, bad because this community could be better but she makes it worst. The apartment I got was infected with carpet bugs, the carpet supposed to be new, the kitchen and bathroom cabinets were painted on top of the dirtiness, the front door is broken and just fixed with two screws, which is hard to lock the door. I have mildew on the windows frames, which mildew causes bad illness and can kill a person. The balcony has deck, which all the water goes to the tenant first floor and it is covered with mildew on top and under, the smell is bad. The laundry facility is most of the time dirty and small washing machines, so it is not good to wash the clothes here. There is parking space for only one car, so the rest has to park outside, very bad because this community is on a curve street and the cars cover the vision. There is empty parking spaces for more cars, although, her family lives here and she let them to have more car inside the community. The good thing is the police department is across the street.
