  I’ve spent nearly two years here, and the staff are fantastic. They made transitioning from a studio to a two-bedroom incredibly easy as our family expanded. It’s a great place, but there are two fair critiques worth noting: The Visitor Parking Issue: Visitor spots are constantly full because some residents use them to avoid paying the $35/month fee for a second vehicle. I gladly pay for my extra spot, so it’s frustrating to see the same cars parked in visitor spaces every single week. A simple parking pass system would easily solve this, and then we don't have to send friends or family down the street half a mile to find a spot to park. Mass Emails: The community emails can feel pretty passive-aggressive. Sending all-caps messages threatening to lock down the pool because one person left a gate open isn't great. If management overuses these aggressive mass emails, people are just going to tune them out. If you can overlook the parking situation and the intense emails, it’s a wonderful community and I still highly recommend it!

  Does Epic Asset Management company train their employees right way? The management is terrible. Age discrimination is against the law. Isn't it? If they're going to discriminate against elderly people (55+) or Section 8 voucher holders, they shouldn't be working there. She treated me like I was a major interruption to her day just because I was a section 8 holder. Back in February/March of this year, I tried to apply for a one bedroom apartment. I called the office and told her I'm looking for the one bedroom apartment, but a woman answered the phone, she told me I have to fill out an application online first. Since I have been living my current address for many years, I wasn't familiar with today's application process especially when it comes to uploading my ID so I told her if she could help me with the application just in case if I get stuck with the uploading part. Her exact word "In order to live in Pinewood Square Apartment, all applicants have to know how to fill out the application process. She was very cold and firm. I told her I'm not a computer savvy, but I know how to fill out an application 95% by myself except the uploading part. She told me go back to the Snohomish Housing Authority and ask them for help. or find a friend who knows how to do that. A few days, I called and left a message with call back number, but she screened my calls and she never got back to me. Anyway, I don't want to live in a place like that neither especially under that kind of management so it worked out fine. If I remember correctly, I think she told me her name was Erica.

  I had a great move-in experience at this apartment community. The unit was in excellent condition, the area is calm and convenient, and management has been respectful and responsive. Everything was handled clearly and professionally. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a well-maintained apartment

  Pinewood Square has been a great place to live at. The property is nice and clean. The office staff, especially the manager Nadia, has been awesome the whole time I’ve been here. Super helpful and reliable. Definitely recommend living here!
