I had an emergency where I needed to leave my last apartment in a hurry, two friends of mine have lived here for 5 years and we decided to get an apartment together. Trish was able to help me get my application in, reviewed and approved in less than a week. My friends had a really smooth transition moving from unit to unit, and Trish actually advocated for them to be able to do the transfer with the property management company without breaking their existing lease. Because of my job I frequently would just pop by during open hours to drop off paperwork or get info and office staff were always present and available to help, without me scheduling appointments or even letting them know I was coming in. Communication was clear and timely, service was great, the process was very smooth. I have had great raport with the office staff, including them helping me get into the resident portal, walking me through submitting a maintenance request (which got completed the next day), and generally just being friendly, helpful and professional. I didn't need to give Trish all the details of why I needed to get out of my old place for her to care and go above and beyond to help me get into my new apartment with my friends. I'll be happily bringing the office a cheese plate before the end of the week to say thank you for all the help they have provided so far!

I visit a large portfolio of properties, and I don't typically send notes like this, but I felt compelled to highlight a community that truly stands out to me. The manager, Janea, exceeds every expectation. She is warm, personable, inspiring, patient, and you can just tell she's seen it all. The leasing specialist, Trish, is direct, approachable, involved, and very helpful. The assistant manager, Amy, is genuine, calming, funny, and welcoming. It's clear that the positive culture and leadership at Cedar Heights are reflected throughout the team. I also have a colleague who lives here, and she absolutely loves it. I'm not sure how often I'll have the chance to visit, but I genuinely look forward to working with this group.

Unprofessional Property Manager. SWIMMING WHILE SHE WAS SUPPOSE TO BE SHOWING US A UNIT! DONT MOVE HERE! My partner and I are browsing around looking for a new home to live. We originally made an appointment on Zillow to see a 2Bed and 2Bath for this complex. Since my partner and I both work weekdays, we took time off to view this apartment. We called 20 minutes before the appointment since we haven’t seen any appointment confirmation. We call a bit ahead of our appointment just for the property manager to unapologetically say “we don’t do appointments through Zillow anymore”. So, after telling her when we are wanting to move out, and what type of apartment we were looking for. We booked another tour for the next week to see a unit, we made this appointment over the phone. My partner and I took the day off again, moved our schedules around, to make this work. We did not get a confirmation. So again, we call, but no one answered. We called multiple times and no response. We still go to try and see if maybe they are busy and couldn’t reach the phone. We drive 40 minutes to this complex to view this unit. When we try to open the door, no one is there. The door is locked. We knocked, no response. My partner and I decide to wait a bit, after ten minutes we hear a voice calling out from the attached pool to the leasing office. We see a woman standing by the gate in her bathing suit asking if we needed anything. We shared that we had a scheduled appointment at 2pm with Trish. THIS WOMAN BEGAN TO LAUGH AND SAY IM TRISH THE SAME WOMAN WHO WAS SWIMMING AROUND IN THE POOL! The property manager KNEW she had an appointment and without apologizing she just said “haha late lunch today” HELLO?? You had a viewing for an apartment and you’re in the pool? VERY unprofessional. She says she needed ten minutes to change, but she has already wasted SO much of our time! She asks us our names multiple times, not remembering, and asks us what we were suppose to view, we said we were viewing the 2Bed and 2Bath that we discussed last week. AND SHE SAID SHE DIDNT HAVE THOSE UNITS TO VIEW RIGHT NOW! It was SO grossly unprofessional. She wanted to email us more information on the apartment, but I can’t even imagine anything else but her laughing in her bathing suit when she is actively ignoring potential renters! We actually really wanted to move to this complex because our friends live here, but they said the same thing. Very unresponsive management and nothing gets done unless you’re persistent enough. I couldn’t imagine a family living here, busy working and having to do so much work and follow up just to be heard! Please LISTEN to these renters experiences, apartments can be nice, but management can truly make or break YOUR experience. Don’t waste your time, energy, and mostly your MONEY, on a place that doesn’t give two cents about you, and doesn’t care to waste your resources.

This has been a great place to live for the last 9+ years! Office staff are always friendly and helpful, and the management has always resolved my Issues with care and kindness. Maintenance is always quick and reliable no matter the issues we are facing. The property is beautiful and well kept. This place felt like home strait away and still does 9 years on.
