  Construction a bit of a issue but was offered by the Management the option to void my recently renewed lease? I probably will stay because the apartments are large and super nice!!! Diamond in the rough in a unique area.

  I’m writing this because the reviews for Madison Plaza Apartments feel deeply misleading. My husband and I lived here a couple of years ago, and our experience was very different from what’s reflected in the current ratings. A large number of the positive reviews read like they were written by staff or people connected to the property, not actual long-term residents. During our time there, we dealt with ongoing issues that were never properly addressed. For example, the electricity in our hallway went out. We admittedly didn’t push maintenance as much as we should have, but instead of resolving it responsibly, we were later charged for the repair when we moved out—which didn’t feel fair. We were initially so excited to live on the top floor for the first time, but that quickly turned into disappointment. From the very first night, people were constantly accessing the roof/deck area. I remember going up there once and seeing a teenage girl intoxicated and vomiting, which was honestly upsetting and set the tone for what living there would be like. We tried to stay positive—enjoying the sky, watching planes come in, even convincing ourselves the highway noise was “white noise.” But over time, the negatives piled up: * Fires being set outside the building * A garage door that never stayed closed despite paying for security * Ongoing theft issues (including items taken from cars) * Loud, bass-heavy music from a nearby house Even after we left, we’ve continued to follow reviews and updates out of curiosity, and unfortunately, nothing we’ve heard has been surprising—including reports of serious incidents in the building. At one point, someone described this place as feeling like a “Grand Theft Auto simulation,” and honestly, that stuck with us because it captured the chaos we experienced. This review isn’t about being negative for the sake of it—it’s about honesty. If management had acknowledged issues, made real improvements, and taken responsibility, I would gladly write a positive review. But maintaining high ratings through what appears to be inflated or inauthentic reviews feels dishonest. Prospective tenants deserve a real picture before making a decision.

  It’s been great 😊 setting in slowly and working with Jenni has been my pleasure. She has been the best at customer service & meeting our needs. I am enjoying the roof top space and the gym with study& game room.
