  Overall, the community and apartment experience have been good, but one ongoing issue is the limited access to amenities. Currently, all facilities except the gym are only accessible during leasing office operating hours. This makes many of the amenities partially unusable for residents who work standard office hours and are only free in the evenings or early mornings. It becomes quite inconvenient. I understand this concern has been raised multiple times by residents in the past, but there still does not seem to be any resolution or improvement. It would be greatly appreciated if management could reconsider the access policy and provide extended or resident-controlled access hours for the amenities.

  I have lived at Discovery Heights Apartments for almost 3 months now, and I absolutely love this community! The property is peaceful, and welcoming. Everyone who works here has been so kind, professional, and helpful from day one. I especially want to recognize Susan Carlson, the Community Manager. Susan is such a sweet and caring person who truly goes above and beyond for the residents. She has always been incredibly helpful, attentive, and understanding whenever I’ve needed anything. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about making this community a wonderful place to live. I’m so happy I chose Discovery Heights as my home and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and supportive community!

  I’m extremely disappointed with how Discovery Heights is managed, which is why I’m giving it a 1-star rating. First, the 72-hour parking policy is not enforced fairly. Management is quick to go after some residents, but employees have vehicles on the property that clearly do not work and haven’t moved for long periods of time. Despite this, nothing is done, no tickets, no towing. Policies should apply to everyone equally, not selectively. Second, the amenities situation is frustrating. At Discovery Heights, amenities are only available during office hours, which is very limiting for residents who work during the day. Meanwhile, the sister property across the street, Discovery West, allows access to amenities until 10 PM. That inconsistency feels unfair and poorly thought out. On top of that, the property is not kept clean. There is often garbage left around on the ground, which makes the community feel neglected. It doesn’t reflect the standards you would expect for the rent being charged. Lastly, there seems to be little to no enforcement when it comes to unsupervised children causing damage around the property. This ongoing issue is ignored, and it affects the quality of living for other residents. Overall, there is a clear lack of consistent management, accountability, and upkeep. I would not recommend living here unless these issues are seriously addressed.
