I was able to secure my apartment due to an INCREDIBLE program called the GOSH program (Governor's Opportunity for Supportive Housing), and from the beginning, my leasing agent, Chelsea, was extremely helpful and really went above and beyond to ensure that both my case manager AND myself understood and were understood. Unfortunately, due to the process behind-the-scenes, the time between the date that I agreed that THIS was the apartment that I wanted and that I ACTUALLY managed to get moved in was about a month and a half. Closer to the end, I was growing increasingly distressed, because there were some heavier implications in terms of real-life consequences that the continued delay would cause if I remained at the location I was at previously. Then, about a week after one of the biggest hurdles was crossed and a new hurdle was introduced regarding the move-in costs and when the program would be able to pay them, Chelsea reached out to me to inform me that, because my program is state-funded, they had decided that there was enough security in that fact that would almost guarantee the costs WOULD be paid eventuallly, and stated that I was free to officially move in as soon as I wished to. There remained another massive hurdle with the program itself for another 2 weeks but, right when it was almost to a point of causing those greater negative effects on me, Chelsea was able to once again provide clarity to the person who in the program who was in charge of giving the go-ahead, and I was FINALLY able to live in my new home. Chelsea informed me to also give her a call on my first day when actually IN the apartment so that she could have a gentleman from the maintenance team visit the apartment to help with properly adjusting some of the disability aides that had been installed in the home for me. Once he, Brandon, from maintenance was able to do so, despite being the ONLY individual in the department available that day, he asked if there were any other concerns that I had while he was there. Once we went over a few of my questions, he went even FURTHER than expected and, this being my first apartment, he walked me through the emergency shutoff for the water, electricity, walked me through the functions of a few various "mystery switches," reset the settings on the thermostat set from the previous resident, and made sure to emphasize that he was available 24/7, in case of an emergency, which was truly a wonderful level of service. The staff here are genuinely phenomenal!

I've lived at wildreed for 2 years now (so far), and it has been great the whole time, spacious place, convenient parking, never had any problems with neighbors, friendly staff, and maintenance is super responsive and helpful - Brandon came by to fix a busted fan switch that i had put in a request for a few days beforehand, was very friendly, replaced it in no time flat, and was able to answer a question i had about an upcoming apartment complex wide repair i had received an email about too!
