Raising prices on not only rent but also facilities is one of the major downsides of this place, as well as the fact that it stated that the utilities were all paid in the bills of the online renting, and over the past year it’s turned out that that’s not true at all, which is extremely frustrating. Imagine renting a place for months just to find out that that electric bill has just been piling up even though you’ve been seeing the charges for it on your rent, then scrambling to pay a thousand dollars all at once. Yeah, and then remember this happened to us and our other bills like electricity and gas. My biggest pet peeve over the last couple of months is the Landry, as it has not only shorted in the amount of units it’s also constantly had 2-3 units broken or not working, and let’s not even mention the fact that the price to do laundry has gone up incredibly 3 times starting from 75c to 1.75$ per wash and dry, which is still incredibly cheap, but the sudden increase without explanation is uncalled for. Or when we wanted to switch to online payments in the new lease we were left unanswered when trying to message our property manager. I’m a pretty reasonable person, but this place screams “rich corporate” place, so please beware of that because there are major downsides, as I stated.

Very beautiful, and the management is incredibly helpful and organized. But also, they are very strict with policy and are only in office 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, so it is very hard to get a hold of someone when you need them.
Also, the roads are poorly maintained, built, and functioning.
There are small lots of sharp turns and bushings blocking lines of sight.
They handle disputes very poorly, often saying, “I’ll talk about this,” and it never gets talked about, mentioned, or even said to the other party.
There are very limited Landry appliances, and the appliances in units are very dated. The price is moderate but very high for each bedroom added to the standard apartment.

The parking spaces are VERY iced over and it’s quite dangerous. They were NOT well maintained during the snow storms this past few months.
New ownership is addressing a lot of issues on the property. It is clear that they are investing time and money to make sweeping improvements at LEB.
