i had a very disappointing and upsetting experience with the apartment management, specifically with the manager. From the moment I tried to resolve a simple issue, I felt disrespected, dismissed, and discriminated against.
I went to the office to return a trash container after being told over the phone that I could do so and receive documentation confirming the return. However, the manager immediately refused, stating that I was required to keep and use their container in order for my trash to be picked up. I explained that I had never used their service and instead used the large community container available in the neighborhood. Despite this, he insisted I would still be charged a $25 fee and an additional $50 at the end of the contract, which made no sense given the situation.
What made the experience worse was his behavior. He laughed and spoke sarcastically in front of others, which felt humiliating and extremely unprofessional. When I tried to explain my situation calmly, he became dismissive and acted as though my concerns did not matter. I left the container in the office and stepped out briefly to take a photo as proof that I had returned it. When I came back, the container was gone. The manager denied responsibility and later claimed that trash services had already taken it, which did not seem truthful.
During this interaction, he became increasingly aggressive, stepping very close to me in a confrontational manner that made me feel unsafe, as if he might physically harm me. At one point, he even threatened to call the police instead of resolving the issue professionally.
Additionally, another staff member was extremely rude and shut the door in my face when I tried to speak with her. Thankfully, one employee was kind and attempted to help by offering a letter, but the manager overruled her and refused any resolution.
Another major concern is how maintenance is handled. On multiple occasions, workers sent by management have entered homes without proper notice or permission. They appear to have keys and let themselves in without coordinating with residents first. This is very inappropriate and concerning, especially for safety reasons. In my case, I have dogs, and having strangers suddenly enter my home without warning can create dangerous situations for both the workers and my pets. This lack of respect for residents’ privacy is unacceptable.
This experience reflects very poor management, lack of accountability, and unacceptable customer service. I also noticed ongoing issues in the community, including trash and cleanliness problems, which many residents have complained about.
Overall, I felt disrespected, discriminated against, and intimidated. I would not recommend this place based on how residents are treated.
