  Buen lugar para hospedarse, linda casa y tiene un chulengo atrás, flojo el wifi. Buena atención de los propietarios. Pregunta para el susodicho: Perdí mi llave del gimnasio en el gimnasio, hay alguna oficina a donde vayan las cosas perdidas?

  I lived at Courtyards for over 10 years. Never had any problem until I had to relocate to a renovated unit last year, due to property wide renovations. Nothing but problems. The kitchen sink dropped out of the counter, 1 room smelled and couldn't be used, only 1 cable outlet worked etc.. I ended up moving out 3 months before my lease ended due to a RAT infestation and now they trying to charge me $5000 for breaking my lease. There were RATS in my house!! The repair was to use spray foam into the holes, so some died in the wall, while others were still getting into the house!! So now add rotting rat smell on top of live rats!! the spray foam was used all around the stove outlet, so i didn't dare to use the stove. SMH.. Since the previous manager left this place has seriously gone down hill and the renovations are subpar and definitely not what they are charging in rent.

  Great location however there is a HUGE mice issue at this complex. I hear mice in the walls and in the attic day and night

  Definitely couldn't wait to get out of there. It is so incredibly outdated and everything in these apartments are rundown! I had a major plumbing issue with my apartment and would often come home to my kitchen and dinning area flooded with a nasty brown liquid that consisted of a mixture of mud, my neighbors dinner scraps, and whatever had been collecting in the pipes over the past 50 years. It took almost two months to fix, and yes they had access to my apartment so that definitely wasn't the cause of their delay as stated by management in the previous review. Anytime the apartment above me used their sink guess what I got to see coming through my drain and into my incredibly old and hardly functioning dishwasher!!! Once the matter was finally fixed I informed them that since I was unable to use my kitchen for the past month and a half that I would like some sort of discount on rent, I was informed that because I was able to use the rest of my apartment a discount could not be authorized! Unbelievable! There is definitely a really bad bug problem, especially giant roaches and spiders, never saw a rat though so that's a plus. They offer free bug spraying, but you must go ask them to do so. I went every other month almost because I HATE bugs! The common area floor and stairs were moldy and incredibly brown with the many stains from years of neglect. On the good side, they cut the grass often and the dog park looks nice. Unfortunately tenants would often not clean up after their pets so feces covered just about any grassy areas you may want to enjoy. I will also say that the staff in the office was usually very friendly and sweet, which is unfortunately overshadowed by the grotesque living spaces they represent. Unfortunately I would not feel comfortable recommending this place to any of my friends or family.

  I loved the community. Its a very nice, safe, and quiet neighborhood. The townhomes are okay. Nothing over the top spectacular. The kitchen is very small with minimal cabinet and counter space bedroom closets are also very small. I lived in a 2Bdr 1.5 Ba and the half bath downstairs is suuuuper small. It was a great place to stay short term, but if you need space and storage, this is not ideal. The front office staff was always friendly, and maintenance was always fast for me. I would stay here again if I lived in VA Beach again.
