  Management doesn't keep up with the inside. Roach infested, so be prepared. Management can be condescending and aggressive. Rent increase EVERY year. No incentive for resigning your lease. Many floods here in apartments. You have to make your own living space pest free (manageable) and make the most of your living space. I enjoy my living space (2 Bedroom) 1300. Do what makes life comfortable for you.

  I am an active age 67+ new resident and disagree with the negative reviews. I visited several local 55+ complexes and was turned off by balcony views of highways, inaccessible shopping for walkers, "utility bundles" and even an unexplained tech fee. Jamestown Commons is designed for independent living and the rental agreement assigns reasonable responsibility for living spaces. Holiday lunches, shopping trips, bible studies, movie nights and game nights offer social opportunity for independent adults who enjoy a private patio or balcony, a community garden and a 2 minute walk to shopping. A full independent life can be found at Jamestown Commons and very glad to be a resident.
