  I’ve lived here for 2 years and it’s entirely underwhelming. You are DEFINITELY paying for location. The floors in the unit have broken cement subfloor (if there’s carpet be aware), the exteriors are in need of some desperate love and attention. Be aware, you pay a $350 amenity fee every year for Amazon Package lockers and a pool. Seems a tad excessive. The office seems to randomly close frequently but they’re “available remotely” which made me wonder, is there on site management? Lol. The structures inside crack and split as the seasons change. It’s not a big deal-just makes it look a little low-budget vs luxury. The bathroom mirrors are an illusion, they’re kind of cheap frames around a mirror. Lastly, pay attention to what your promised in your unit and be sure you know. They TRIED to pull a fast one on me until I sent some emails of what I was told in my unit. In the 3D tour thing it showed one thing and I verified in email what was in the unit. When I moved in, A VERY different bathroom than I was promised. They tried to say, “too bad” until I dug up my emails. Then they acquiesced (once I CCed the regional manager). Not cool. I just think there are better options in the area for just a little more. My opinions - do with it as you please 😁 The property manager changed and they seem pretty chill. The previous one was non-responsive and rude.

  We recently just moved in..Very nice and so far quiet community. Mrs Quinn is very kind and helpful with everything ! Thank you !

  Great place if you love the sound of screaming children that slam and throw stuff all the time. Usually starts at 5:30 am and goes up to 9 pm. Also, not sure if the construction is really cheap or the parents are really loud but I can always hear them talking/yelling. I work from home and I have to always have my noise cancelling headphones on to get any work done or to not get a headache. I have submitted emails and made phone calls. Other tenants in other apartments did as well. Emails got ignored. Sandy said that there is nothing that can be done regardless of how much I complain, even though when we were touring she said they have a strict noise policy. Anything to get people through the door, right? She also said I should make a log of every time they are being noisy so that she can "help them figure out a schedule for noise". Yup, she gave me homework as if I have nothing better to do. And oh yeah, THEY ARE THE NEIGHBORS UNDER US. I can't imagine having them as my upstairs neighbors.

  Kudos to the dream team of David and Oscar. They treat each maintenance issue as if it was their own issue. Total commitment and ownership of their respective roles. A big Thank You to you David and Oscar for your timely response and solving the Maintenance issue.

  I lived in these apartments for 17 yrs. It was Archstone Tyons Corner before Avalon took over a few yrs ago. The old property manager Ramtin was really nice, but the new staff is rude (Except for Caesar who was nice) the apartments are very old, I knew a friend who lived there about 25 yrs ago. When Avalon took over all they did was paint the units outside and put up a new sign. BEWARE! The noise is very very annoying since the floors are so old. I had to complain several times about these nuisances that made so much noise in the middle of the night in 1713 2nd floor building!!! The insides of the stairwells need to be power-washed, they look gross! The maintenance staff is very good I must say,. We told the office about this street sign that was in the back for years and no one did anything about it except for Caesar finally! The parking lot is very narrow & it's hard to find a space later at night. It seems like they started letting in undesirable people & can't understand how they can let such big dogs live in small apartments, plus let them use the pool, gross! I remember they always try to raise your rent so beware before signing a lease!!! You would think for the amount of $ they charge they would at least try & make it into a gated community. They have a lot of other issues, I wouldn't be surprised if they tear them down. (never had handicapped parking, no fire alarms or extinguishers) the place is very old. I grew up in McLean and love the surrounding areas, but this place has gone downhill! random people use the dumpsters also! Glad we didn't renew our lease there.
