I don't think the management cares about future residents.
Scheduled a tour two weeks ago and arrived at the building approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled time but none of the future residents parking was available (which should have been the sign). Called them to ask where I should park but the person who was on the line doesn’t work at the property and she said someone would reach back out to me. Waited in my car for ten minutes and no one called me so I called again. This time their concierge picked up and told me I could do street parking (which was weird already) but of course no street parking was available. So I had to park in the Whole Foods garage and walk back to the building.
Then finally I got to the building lobby which was 25 mins past my appointment time (clearly not my fault) but only to be told that they didn’t have my appointment on their list. I showed the leasing agent all the text and email confirmations I got for this tour. She said she could only go based off the list and asked me if I want to wait since she needed to help someone else who had an appointment 30 mins after mine. At that point I didn’t think it was necessary to have a tour.
The funniest thing was - the leasing agent didn’t know what happened but noted that was not the first time this has happened. So I guess the management would just let this happen again and again and no action was taken.
I cannot speak to the living experience here but based on my experience of this tour that never ended up happening I just don’t think they care about potential customer’s experience.

To start this off, I’m not from this area but while traveling I got lost and I needed help. I park across the street and I walk over to this building and when I walk inside I’m greeted by the kindest person I’ve met in a long time. I explain to him that I’m not from here and that I’m lost and he gave me directions and helped me in my time of need. When I was comfortable enough to leave I thanked him for his help. Just wish I could have gotten his name. He was an elder gentleman working at the front desk. Thank you again friend.

My honest review as a resident at The Rise at the Boro:
This property is very poorly managed, and the operational issues have become exhausting, especially for the high rent we pay.
Elevator problems are ongoing and unacceptable: Two elevators have been out of service for nearly 3 months. During peak hours, the remaining elevators are frequently overcrowded (made worse by the pet-friendly building), and you often hear other residents complaining about the situation. The working elevators regularly get stuck on one floor, leaving effectively only one elevator serving the entire building. The concierge does not appear to actively monitor or help keep them running efficiently.
Common areas feel shabby: The lobby and mail room look unmaintained and worn for a building marketed as luxury. The paint and overall condition suggest they haven't been refreshed in years.
Lack of effective leadership: There's little visible direction from property management or maintenance. HVAC units frequently malfunction and need resetting, we've had multiple instances with no water, and issues drag on without resolution. We have a new property manager who has been largely inaccessible, and after more than a month, improvements have been minimal. Some maintenance staff and office helpers can come across as rude or unapproachable, which makes residents hesitant to ask for help.
I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend this property to anyone looking for a true luxury experience. The constant stress from these problems — especially delays getting to your car or dealing with daily inconveniences — is not worth the premium rent. I'll be counting down until my lease ends.
If things improve significantly, I'd be happy to update this review. Right now, it falls far short of what is promised.

Brooklyn was seriously SOO amazing!! He showed me everything, was super helpful, and had such great energy the whole time! He made the tour feel easy and really went out of his way to help. Francis was also very kind and welcoming and gave me helpful advice. Overall a great experience with the new staff and would highly recommend!

I recently toured an apartment complex in Tysons, VA, and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The leasing staff was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help answer all of my questions. A special shoutout to Ivan who assisted us on our guided tour. He took the time to walk me through the community, highlighting amenities and features without making me feel rushed.
The property itself was beautifully maintained, with clean common areas and thoughtfully designed spaces. I was especially impressed by the modern finishes in the units, the abundance of natural light, and the attention to detail throughout. The amenities—like the fitness center, lounge areas, and outdoor spaces—felt upscale and well cared for.
Another big plus was the location. Being in Tysons means easy access to shopping, dining, and major commuter routes, which would make daily life incredibly convenient.
Overall, the tour exceeded my expectations, and it left me with a very positive impression of the community. I would absolutely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a comfortable, stylish place to live in the Tysons area.
