  I lived here for 18 months. It’s an expensive place that is mostly worth it, but I didn’t have a car or pets (monthly parking was $125/mo from what I remember, and no recollection of how much pet rent is). The apartment was nice and I always felt safe inside the building. The gyms in the basement and the roof are fantastic amenities. Like any other building, some neighbors are great and some are weird. I loved living here up until the original leasing agents left the management office. Then it was only okay. The response time to emails and calls tanked and the new people working in the office were just not as helpful or personable. To me the change in staff and my difficulty coordinating with them was not worth how much I was paying for a studio and was enough to keep me from renewing my lease. Another complaint is that the dog-room in the basement causes the basement and the area on the sidewalk outside the building (I’m assuming this is because of how the HVAC is set up) to smell strongly of dog urine. Overall 7.5/10 experience all things considered.

  I had the pleasure of visiting the property for a tour, and was met by Bradford K. to accompany me, who made the experience really fun and made me excited to tour the building. The property is AMAZING and has incredible amenities, features, an incredible rooftop with such a fantastic view of downtown and the capitol building. It’s an experience you just have to be in person to really soak in. What made this experience worth remembering and special was my tour with Bradford K. What a kind and personable individual! Bradford is a leasing agent that stopped at nothing to answer my questions, make accommodations and satisfy my tricky leasing situation. We spent an hour together working through numbers, the application process and getting me positioned for success in the review process. I felt extremely comfortable going through the process with him and confident that the accommodations I requested would’ve been met. He really is a rockstar, and I recommend you ask for him if you’re planning on touring! Although I decided not to move forward with living at Mutual on Main, I feel compelled to share this experience with others and to encourage people to visit and apply here because it’s incredible and such a great value for what you get, and the leasing office is staffed by amazing staff! Thank you.

  This community exceeded my expectations by far. From the moment I moved in, it truly felt like home. The property is exceptionally well maintained, and it's clear that management genuinely cares about both the residents and the community. Everyone at the front desk was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help. Their kindness and responsiveness make such a difference in the overall living experience. Special shout of to Diana who always was quick to answer my questions and is an excellent communicator 💝💝💝 I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place that is not only beautiful and well cared for, but also has a team that truly values its residents. Also great location for VCU grad students !
