Im writing a review in addition to my girlfriends review, which we already didn’t expect much from but I’d like to start off with saying DO NOT MOVE HERE. Not if you value your time, money or anything else of that matter. We were lied to with the amount of promotion we’d get, we were lied to when told we would be contacted by one of the property managers Louisiana prior to us switching to their sister complex, because we were at hunter ridge prior, and this entire experience has been chasing the management, aswell as the workers for answers and responses, theres no reason I should move into an apartment thats been “walked through prior” and the toilet is crooked. We were lied to about how much of the security deposit we were supposed to receive back, with “standard charges” you may want to look out for. My girlfriend responded with all information requested but as soon as she told them she preferred email, its silent, very shady practices if you ask us. Its ridiculous.

Fox Chase aswell as their sister complex has made my moving experience very stressful and unusually difficult. When I first moved into their sister complex hunters ridge, I found multiple bugs in the apartment after bug bombing it, assuming it was a regular occurrence since it was my first apartment we hadn’t noted it, (after bug bombing our second place we didn’t find any, which we now know is what you should find) upon continuing to live there we would find bugs somehow making it through closed doors and windows. When trying to switch apartments we’d chosen their sister complex due to me having a discount, where we found more troubles with the leasing agents, nobody had straight answers and everyone was confused, all looking at each other and everytime I called I received a different answer. Barely 11 days before I moved I checked our portal to make sure everything aligned with the additional email I was sent to confirm pricing, there was a 20$ discrepancy in which the price I was being told was higher then the lease we’d signed, after speaking to our then leasing agent Ariana we were told we’d be contacted shortly. Upon waiting we discovered our unit had been completely changed and the price adjusted to the “correct price” so we decided to go to the office and after speaking to multiple people, including what I was told was one of the property managers Louisiana, I was told someone would call me before the day ended or by Monday, to then call and be told she was not working that day and would not be back until the middle of the week, barely a few days before we were set to move. After being given little to no time for find something different and being told we wouldn’t receive a refund AT ALL we continued with the next apartment, to then be told the initial 400$ discount was actually three, after asking multiple times AND her continuing to make the “mistake” afterwards. I wish I was done but something that I feel should be added was they wouldn’t let me see the unit prior, which then was told to me barely a week before move it that it had “issues”, assuming those issues were fixed by move in, you can imagine my displeasure when I see a note saying our leasing agent viewed the apartment personally! And we walk into the bathroom to see it crooked almost to a 75 degree angle. When it comes to the return of the security deposit you may want to hire professional cleaners, because after having maintenance do an initial walkthrough and telling us we’re “in the clear unless we’re hiding something under the carpets” because after spending over a day cleaning the apartment after being emptied we were charged with a 20$ “dirty microwave fee” 35$ “dirty oven fee”, “discolored wall fee” 100$ and a few more totaling up to 235 out of the 900 I paid, none mentioned prior. Which to me seems like a bad justification for the amount they wanted to keep, not needed, I don’t recommend this place to anybody, unless it’s your last option, which sadly it was mine at the time.
