Rodney and Tommy are debatably the best maintenance men I have ever had. I have lived in 4 different apartment complexes and Rodney and Tommy are always on top of it. They get here and fix any problems I have had within 2-3 hours of me putting in the ticket. They are always very kind and keep me in the loop of what is going on. Great people, when I see them in the halls they always greet me and make sure everything is going well in my place. Even while running around to the multiple buildings that they work on they still make sure everything is smooth.
The leasing Agent Griffin is always on top of it making sure that I have everything I need, a overall good guy who cares about his job and has a radiant energy.
There are many positives about living in this building but there are some negatives. Since moving here I have had two packages stolen and my bike was stolen. whoever I talked to about this was not the most helpful but still attempted to help.
All in all this building is a good place to live, the apartments are nice and well taken care of. The maintenance team is fantastic and will do everything in their power to fix whatever problems you might have in your apartment. The Leasing team cares a lot about the people living here, yes they are often busy but they do have many buildings they have to manage. My main critique is that the mail could be more secure and same with the bike area.

My daughter has lived here for 4 months(student at VCU) and has had 3 packages stolen during that time. Whether it’s Amazon or usps, within an hour of delivery the packages are gone. She has reached out to the leasing office and was pretty much told sorry nothing we can do. It’s unacceptable. There are package lockers that are never used. Maybe add some cameras? Rent isn’t expensive but it isn’t cheap either. As much as as she likes the apartment, this will not be a lease we re sign. Apartment is gorgeous and it’s located in a great area but the amount of mail theft is unacceptable.

Good experience visiting here, impressed with management! Great prices and an even better location. Seriously considering choosing this as my next home in Richmond.

I have been living here for a year and have enjoyed some of my time here. I enjoy my apartment and the price isn't horrible for what you get. The maintenance team is very kind and are typically good on time.
However, every single time I order any packages they get stolen. Many other tenets experience this as well as you can tell from the reviews and from the notes you see all over the apartment of people pleading for their items to be returned. I have anxiety when ordering anything here and feel like I have to race to get my belongings the minute they're delivered or they'll be stolen. My roommates package was stolen 6 minutes after delivery. The leasing office has done nothing to solve this issue after the year I have been here. There's a parcel locker in the building that amazon and usps and ups do not use so I don't know what it's even there for. You'd think they'd put up cameras or offer an actual solution. This is incredibly annoying so please consider this if you're planning on living here.

Honestly, I'm pretty pleased with this complex. Rent is affordable, with cable and internet included. I live in one of the lofts so plenty of windows and light. (unlike some of the other apartments in the building with no windows). Maintenance is pretty consistent, and you can get requests fixed within the week (besides in August, with many move-ins, the maintenance list gets long and they let you know that in advance) The location is AWESOME! CAN'T BEAT IT! Right by VCU, close to many eateries that deliver, and bikeable to many trails and parks. Great shops and grocers nearby as well. Minimal bugs. I see one centipede like once every four months or so. Not bad for an apartment. Some qualms: my apartment only has one small window that opens - in the event of a fire, I could get out, but my roommate couldn't. Parking can sometimes be difficult, but within two blocks, you'll usually find something, and the maintenance office is hard to get on the phone, but respond quickly to emails. All in all, I'm pretty satisfied. I've recommended the place to a few friends already.
