I have lived here for nearly two years. To be fair, I cannot complain about the apartment itself; it is truly comfortable for one or two people, and maintenance requests are handled quickly and without any issues. However, the overall experience has been overshadowed by significant management and facility concerns. First, regarding parking: it is frustrating that we pay for a parking spot but are not assigned a fixed space. Coming home in the early morning only to find no available parking in a building where I pay for this service is unacceptable. Second, the cleanliness of the building is a major health concern. Residents frequently leave trash in the stairwells and elevators, and there is persistent dog urine and feces in common areas. Management should implement fines; it is not sanitary to have to navigate through this daily. While my neighbors are generally respectful—despite the walls being thin enough to hear everything—the common areas have received zero investment or improvements. The gym is a particular point of contention: the air conditioning has been broken for six months, making it impossible to work out. When we bring this up to the leasing office, they log the request but never actually fix it. They offer no communication or updates. If the gym is unusable, we should at least be provided with a functional alternative, rather than being directed to another building’s gym, which is also in a state of disrepair. Finally, if you are considering moving here, please be aware that the neighborhood atmosphere on weekends is quite chaotic—it honestly feels like "Gotham City." There have been incidents of gunfire, along with constant noise from cars, motorcycles, loud music, and people drinking and shouting outside. The building needs to hire professional security to address these safety concerns. We pay full rent and expect the facilities and services to match that cost. Sadly, the lack of investment and management's indifference make it difficult to recommend this place.

It’s always some bullshit with this place. Don’t let the positive reviews fool you, the staff is nice but they’re not living with you. Imagine having to explain to your boss that you’re late because the first floor button on the elevator is gone and it’s the only elevator that’s even opening for you. Then having to walk all the way around to the other side off building to get to the stairs and having to walk around the building AGAIN to get to your car. On top of other things, dog shit on the sidewalk all around the building. People trying to break into your car. Look, if you’re desperate go for it but if you have options don’t let this be one.

The company managing this property, especially the Cedar building, has really gone downhill since they first took over a year or so ago, and is neglecting their duties to maintain a safe and clean community. There seems to be no accountability towards residents who leave bags of garbage in the hallways (outside of the nightly 1 hour pickup schedule), or dumped in the stairwells and parking garage. There are strict rules in the lease agreement against this that are supposed to result in fines and eventual eviction. It just continues to happen! Not fun to walk down a hall that smells like a dumpster with insects everywhere on, and flying around leaking garbage bags. Navigating dog poo and pee in the halls, elevators and common areas is also a daily chore. The grass and overall landscaping maintenance has been an absolute embarrassment, as it has been neglected all summer. Access doors to the property are often broken and not secure, or propped open by residents to allow anyone to enter the building, also a major violation of their lease agreement. There has been property damage as a result. We just want some accountability towards the residents who are breaking the rules! DO NOT pay attention to the reviews about tours. Trust the reviews from people who actually live here.

I moved in last month, and overall I’ve had a positive experience. The leasing agents, Chyna, Brian, and Nykia, were all very kind and helpful throughout the process. The only downside was that communication from the leasing office seemed a bit unorganized at times. It was sometimes difficult to reach someone, and my roommate and I would occasionally receive different information depending on who we spoke with. Despite that, everyone was always friendly and willing to help. The apartment itself is modern, updated, and has been a great place to live so far. Maintenance deserves a shoutout because they respond quickly and have fixed every issue we’ve reported almost immediately. My neighbors have also been friendly. One thing to be aware of is that the floors and ceilings are pretty thin, so I can hear almost every step my upstairs neighbor takes. It hasn’t ruined my experience, but it’s something prospective residents should know. My biggest complaints are with some of the residents and the parking situation. This is a non-smoking building, yet people still smoke cigarettes inside their apartments and even in the stairwells despite having patios available. I also think the valet trash schedule should be adjusted because residents often leave their trash outside their doors for long periods, which can create unpleasant odors in the hallways. The parking lot is also too small for the number of residents. People frequently park over the lines, making it difficult to find a space, and paying $125 per month for parking feels unreasonable given how limited and cramped it is. I think the parking fee should be reconsidered until the parking situation improves.
