  Would give zero stars if I could as a resident. They never answer phones, barely respond to emails, and overall extreme lack of communication. The package lockers have been down for months and unless you have a standard work schedule, obtaining your own packages depends on if they are present in the office to unlock a door only they have access to. Elevators have broken down more than once while I’ve been inside. Now claiming they didn’t see my maintenance request yet it was marked as resolved.

  I had an excellent experience with Attain Shockoe from the beginning to my move-in day. The community is very clean, quiet, and well maintained. The residents I have met so far have been kind and welcoming, which made me feel at home right away. I would especially like to thank Chyna Johnson for her outstanding service. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, professional, patient, reliable, and always had a smile. She answered all of my questions, kept me informed throughout the entire application process, and made everything much less stressful. Her dedication and positive attitude truly made a difference. Thank you, Chyna, for making my first apartment experience such a positive one. I highly recommend Attain Shockoe to anyone looking for a wonderful place to live!

  I applied in September 2025, my application was denied, and I’m still waiting on my $150 refund in June 2026. That’s almost 9 months. No answers, no refund, and no accountability. At this point, it feels like they’re hoping applicants will just give up and forget about their money. Save yourself the headache and think twice before paying any application fees here.

  Coming into this I was not really sure with what was going on with my moving situation. Strolled into here on a scheduled viewing and got the pleasure of running into Mr. Brian King. Brian has been such a blessing to me during this whole process and couldn't make this process for me any easier. Glad to have ran into him at a time like this.

  Since Brian started working 5 months ago he’s been an incredible addition to the attain team. He’s been always present, highly responsive, and has a great attitude. Today he was still working at 730pm and was able to help me get a package from the package machine (which was unfortunately down again). Thank you Brian you’re the man.
