  After living in my Ryan home for one full year, I can honestly say this has been the worst home buying experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve bought three homes. The build quality was extremely disappointing, with peeling vinyl siding, poor quality concrete on the driveway and sidewalks, and landscaping that was subpar from the start. The sod never took. Warranty repairs required multiple calls for every issue, and after the warranty expired, responses basically stopped. The home closed on schedule, but that was the only smooth part. Based on my experience with workmanship, materials, and service, I would not recommend Ryan Homes to anyone.

  Never again, this company is petty, poor communication, horribly unorganized, and i don't think timely is even in their vocabulary. And if god forbid you want to switch properties even when its the same region and company they will keep your earnest money, as if the measly couple thousand dollars is anything to them. Don’t even get me started on their lenders. ABSOLUTE MESS!!! Believe the hype. RUN!

  Never again…we were told so many lies by the sales person who worked for Ryan Homes and their partner lender (NVR) is a mess to work with! The house we bought was overpriced for the quality and difficult to resell. We bought a brand new townhome and when we arrived for move in found that Ryan’s construction workers had been using our home for lunch breaks…dirty toilets and stains on the carpets. Awful experience all around. Please don’t be naive like me and not take all of these 1 star reviews seriously!

  If you want to live in an over-priced, exploitative cardboard box, then Ryan Homes are for you. They build their homes as cheaply and expediently as possible, which means you, the buyer, will have to spend $600,000+ up front for the house, then spend an equivalent amount in repairs over the course of say 20 years. Don’t do it.

  Ryan homes will not honor their warranty. Ryan homes has given up on me and the poorly built home, but I not given upon them. Veterans please don't buy a Ryan home.
