  Usually don't write reviews, but I feel inclined to so people don't get their hopes up. A couple of friends and I were looking for a place to live post-graduation. Throughout the process, we came across one of the properties managed through PMI, and we messaged them inquiring about possibly touring the place. It took a couple of days, but they got back to us and we were able to book a tour. Everything in the beginning went smoothly; we ended up loving the place and immediately submitted an application. Communication went well at first, but after the first couple of days of submitting, we heard nothing. Even after a week of communicating and following up multiple times, we heard nothing. My friend was texting John and we were being left on read, and we had no idea what was going on. All I got was one phone call saying they were reviewing our application and waiting for the owner's approval. For context, we applied in late July/Early August, didn't hear back for a week, and received a phone call telling me to wait and that they would let me know asap. So we continued waiting until we received an email today (August 19). At this point, most of my roommates had already started their full-time jobs and had no place to live. We called multiple times, and we were ignored every time (even left a message). Fortunately, we were able to find a nice house in the time we were waiting; we got approved and signed the lease all within 4 days, so I know it doesn't take that long to get an application reviewed and to be considered. Even though we found somewhere to live, it was still very last minute for us and we are having to move into a new house while we have a lot of things going on in our lives. I am not upset about not getting accepted; I am upset because of the lack of communication and, to be quite frank, the inconsideration we received time after time again. A few words for the company: don't play with your clients' time; it is the most valuable asset we humans have. All it takes is a simple email or phone call and a little bit of effort. Thanks.

  My condo is managed by them and during the first year, they were extremely professional. After that, they do the bare minimum and it's impossible to get a hold of them (email, phone, website, etc). They charged me a $1200 order without my approval even though I have a maximum that they need to get my approval for prior to. I had to schedule a Calendly after the initial problem was notified to me through my HOA and they pretended as if they had been updating me about it the whole time - very unprofessional. CJ Loredo and John Malatesta, if you see this, call me ASAP.

  Welp. I didn't want to do this but here I am. If you are a prospective tenant and see PMI or John Malatesta on your lease agreement you might as well enjoy being resigned to the slumlord life. John and his minion CJ and their AI bot David will ignore your requests and take weeks to even months to fix things that you use daily and that you are promised in your lease agreement. For property owners- these guys will not treat your tenants well. You will lose high quality tenants because of their inept property management. We've been waiting for our dryer that was a promised working appliance in the lease to be fixed for 2 months, we move in in june. Gave a few weeks before we fully moved in to replace or fix. It didnt matter. We have sent emails, used their portal, called, texted, used their AI bot, and nothing has mattered. They cleaned our dryer vent but the issue remains. They seem to believe we are lying. As if we love to go to the laundromat at our own expense week in week out. 🙃 Prospective tenants- look elsewhere. Prospective landlords that actually want to treat tenants well- look elsewhere.

  Defrauded me of over $1600 and refused to pay HOA dues, leaving me unable to access my own neighborhood without going through visitor access for the entire duration of my lease. Avoid these scammers.
