  My wife and I stayed here for 8 years and even after the management change Stephanie and the rest of the staff were always so kind. We made so many memories and really turned it into a home. From days at the pool grilling to enjoying the space of our unit. Maintenance was typically quick and I’ll miss the place where my wife and I started building a life together. Its location was close to everything I liked to do and the other residents were always open and inviting. It’s a great place to live if you find yourself in the Norfolk area

  I see reviews as ways to either help people stay away from something terrible or go towards something positive. My experience over the last two years here at River House definitely deserves the latter. After two years, I can confidently say I appreciate the safe, comfortable, and communal feel of the complex. Growing up in a cul-de-sac, feeling like there is a community to be a part of is wonderful. Between the friendly exchanges when seeing neighbors and fellow residents, petting all the puppies, the “Resident Events”, the peaceful sounds of the river and birds when sitting on the balcony…it almost feels too good to be true. Out of all of the complexes I’ve lived in over my years, this has been my favorite one by far. This has been a place I can understand if one were to call it “home.” Should you have a chance to read this, thank you to the administrative and maintenance staff for all that you do. Each one of you have made me, and my family, feel very welcomed and safe during our time here.
