I’ve lived at Denbigh Village for almost 4 years, and my experience was good for a while and then extremely disappointing.
From noise complaints, HVAC not working , and now lease violations.
The biggest issue has been maintenance and management response. I dealt with HVAC problems for approximately 7 months, from October 2025 through May 2026. During that time, I submitted multiple maintenance requests because my AC/heat pump was not working properly. While maintenance may have responded, the issue itself was never actually resolved until months later when the entire condenser had to be replaced. Responding to work orders does NOT mean the problem was fixed.
Living without properly functioning HVAC for that long was unacceptable. It affected my family’s comfort and caused higher electric bills because the unit constantly ran without properly cooling the apartment. Despite months of unresolved issues, repeated service requests, and the financial impact, management offered only a minimal concession that did not reflect the seriousness of the situation. Because maintenance “responded”.
What concerns me even more is what has happened since I began pushing for accountability and attempting to contact corporate regarding my unresolved concerns. I am now facing a lease violation based on complaints and accusations, and from my perspective, the timing feels questionable. Considering I did not receive any formal written notice before things escalated to “ termination of your tenancy”.
Communication has been frustrating overall. Concerns often feel dismissed, and instead of focusing on actual resolutions, management seems more focused on appearances and paperwork.
For the amount of rent charged, residents deserve better maintenance, better communication, and fair treatment. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering living here to ask detailed questions about how unresolved maintenance issues and resident complaints are actually handled.
