  I wanted to give a huge Shout Out to our first point of contact, our sales guy Blake Tanner from the very first time we met in the pouring down rain has been so helpful. It was great to work with someone that was on their game and loved what they do. Next shout out goes to the project manager Michael Bullock. This poor man dealt with me ( he needs a crown) lol. I’m sure he thought if this woman ask me one more question …. lol but he handled it with great professionalism and finally the staff at Clayton homes in South Hill. Thank you from day 1 being so amazing. We were very comfortable during this process and felt like family when we came through the door each time. Thank you for the great experience. 🙏🏻💕 I would highly recommend Blake and the South Hill office for your next experience. ☀️

  My wife and I were driving through South Hill, VA. We stopped at this Clayton homes location to see some models in person because we have seen them online. The lady who greeted us on Wednesday May 20th at noon was very rude and basically insulted my wife with her southern sass. She is not a good representative of this retailer unlike the great time we had at another one in Tennessee.

  If your thinking of buying a home from South Hill NC claton don't. Please go anywhere else. They insisted they had to have full payment up front when our home got to the sales lot. That was in September. The house sat there till the middle of January. When they finally delivered it, it fell off the edge of out driveway. The underbelly got tore up bad. They glued around 20 patches to the underbelly which are already falling down and I see there was no insolation where the patches are. The work on the inside, I would have been better off if I had the warren county freshman high school shop class do the work. The house has been on my property for 6 weeks now. This week it was worked on for 30 minutes, last week 6 hours, the week before 6 hours. The vinyl corners were damaged when the house was delivered and I talked to Robert , I think his name is, about the damage and he said they would be replaced. Guess what? They came here and put the siding on the 2 sides without replacing the corners. I have a punch list as long as my arm of things that need to be fixed and we feel no one cares. Once they got their money we meant nothing to them. We highly regret giving our entire life savings to them. In hind sight this was a bad deal. It is the end of April and yes the house was delivered in November and it is still not finished the damage from the accident that the house was in is still not repaired just punch list that they're talking about is still not done I'm supposed to get shower doors I still don't have shower doors I call them and complain they come out here for two to three hours and then I don't see him for 2 or 3 weeks again they have all my money the house is paid in full and I am getting no response from them nothing but excuses and poor workmanship everything that Clayton has done I've had them redo because it was done wrong and it is still done wrong when our house was delivered if fell off our driveway the guy who delivered the house was moving house around from the corners and he twisted the house the walls in the house are literally pulled up from the floor and threw the ceiling the way they've been repairing this is putting more white goop on the ceiling. My stress level is through the ceiling do not buy a house from Clayton homes
