  I had the pleasure to tour with Medeline, she was super knowledgeable and amazing! She showed us the community which is one of the best I have seen in the Herndon area. I highly recommend touring with her and visiting this community! The amenities are gorgeous and the units offer great storage and modern finishes.

  Keeping it straight forward: We've lived here for almost 2 years now ONLY due to the fact that we had too much going on to look for another apartment to move to. The staff is extremely unprofessional handling complaints. The walls are paper thin as it is and we've complained about 10 times about a noisy neighbor upstairs. If you live underneath someone who can't sit still in their home and stomps like they're trying to cause earthquakes, good luck getting the management or any staff member to help with the situation. As I write this email, my ears are getting bombarded by them training for a marathon. After years of apartment living, my girlfriend and I have NEVER experienced a neighbor that moves 24/7 in their home. But guess what, the unprofessional management will NOT help you! Please please please take this review seriously. If you want to have PEACE at home and live with confidence of management taking care of certain situations, look elsewhere. The apartment is nice but NOT worth the $$ you spend on rent. Walls are extremely thin and I hope you can make buddy buddy with your next door neighbors because you'll be hearing them a lot! Such a shame. Terrible experience and by far the WORST in the Herndon Area. There needs to be a manager change stat.

  THE STAFF! The staff are so awesome. Tony from maintenance is extremely helpful and hard working. All of the ladies at the front desk are very welcoming and personable. The cleaning staff is very sweet and does a beautiful job with keeping everything clean and fresh.

  I paid on time, kept the apartment mint and clean, moved out at the end of my lease(6 months) was that enough? No. Apparently they never told me I had to give a written notice which I verbally told them from the beginning I didn’t plan to renew. They left note on my door I didn’t get and sent a email that was sent to my spam. I only found all this after being ignored on the phone 5 times and having to go in person. Now trying to reach out again and same thing. Have called 3 times now and every worker keeps kicking the can down the road. They haven’t returned my deposit and have already found a tenant for my room since It was so clean. They charged me a full month’s rent for only me being there 7 days that month. This place will talk when trying to get you in the door. But after that they don’t care. They just want to nickel and dime you for everything. Also the fire alarms people complain about in other reviews is true. If the alarm goes off in any apartment it goes off for everyone. If you enjoy being packed in like a sardine in a box and bad communication then this place is for you.

  I want to give a shoutout to Tony, Dennis (I think that was his name), and Folake for literally saving the day .... I had accidentally thrown a Starbucks bag down the trash chute that contained my ID and 2 bank cards and it was well after 5pm today when I went to their office in a panic. Tony and Dennis with Folake standing by worked about 30 minutes to get the trash out of the chute that had not yet made its way into the compactor. As luck would have it, Folake eventually came out of the trash room holding my missing bag with the ID and bank cards. I can't thank the 3 of you enough for helping me avert a catastrophe. If anyone from Van Metre HQ is reading this, please give them a bonus or take them to dinner. Thanks again!
