  Very, very nice apartments and amenities HOWERVER, many of the residences disregard lease policies, have no respect for their neighbors, make excessive noise, play very loud music, do not clean up after their pets and monopolize the club house and the pool area. It is very sad and hopefully management and staff can get things under control.

  My wife and I moved out of The Brook on March 7, 2026, and here we are months later still trying to get answers regarding our security deposit. We were originally told that we would be receiving a refund, yet the process has been nothing but frustrating, inconsistent, and poorly communicated. We have emailed, called, and attempted to contact both the leasing office and the management company, Middleburg Communities, numerous times. Every conversation seems to end with “it’s being escalated,” but no one actually follows through or provides a clear resolution or timeline. Trying to reach someone higher up in management has been not existent with calls leading to recordings and messages that go unanswered. At this point, the issue is no longer just about the deposit itself — it’s about the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service. Former residents should not have to chase down basic information for months after moving out. I would strongly encourage future residents to document everything carefully throughout their lease and move-out process. This is extremely disappointing since the apartments are new to the area.

  Just moved in and it already feels like home. Everyone I’ve spoken to is so nice and act as a community. For once in my life, I feel like I am getting worth for what I pay. Danielle is amazing and so helpful. From living in a not so great place, it is a breath of fresh air coming to The Brook!

  My wife and I were the first people to move into the townhomes and our experience with The Brook has been nothing short of amazing, all thanks to their leasing agent, Lauren! This 5 star review is definitely due to Lauren’s dedication. She took the time to guide us through every step of the process and ensured we secured a unit quickly after submitting our application. Lauren truly went above and beyond for our family. We applied on back in November on a Friday, for a 2bd 2 1/2 bath & were approved by Sunday, because of her dedication and willingness to work overtime—we were able to move in on that Monday! I waited a while to give an honest review of the place. Pros, Environment- It is a nice and quiet place. Neighbors a nice and friendly. Everything is within a 10- 15 minute drive. Target, home goods, Walmart, food lion, Wawa, ABC, Publix, etc. Maintenance- gets done quickly. I put in a maintenance request for my sink over a holiday weekend and it was completed the next day. Home - is spacious. I would say the living room could have been a bit longer for sectionals to fit but it’s okay. A sectional would still fit but it’s a tight fit. Master bedroom is large enough to fit a king size and still have walking space. Closet space is good(walk in). Restrooms are spacious. Etc. Cons Addresses- addresses for townhomes still have not resonated on google/ Apple Maps so when ordering Instacart, Ubers, pizza or anything it will not pop up. Home- seems like air leaks sometimes in winter causing the temp in the home to drop if the heat is not on. Could be due to the windows not completely being sealed. Screens look as if they are just placed on so bugs can still seep through. I just keep the windows shut. Bugs were a large problem when I moved in (lady bugs and spiders). It’s gotten a lot better though. Extremely less bugs than it was upon move in. Garage space- garage is very small so if your car is not compact it will likely not fit in the garage. Townhomes are sometimes forgotten about whenever it comes to trash days. Also, When the ice storm hit the roads near the townhomes were icey for roughly a week- week 1/2. I alerted Lauren and they were plowed fixed the very next day. Another thing to add is that; I don’t really see security but Cops do often sit near the townhomes at night time. Aside from those things this place is a lovely abode. With Lauren in a leadership role, I have no doubt that The Brook would be an oasis for you and your family. She absolutely deserves to be a property manager here at brook apartments. Her professionalism, commitment, and genuine care made what could have been a stressful process incredibly smooth.

  I moved to The Brook Apartments in July of 2025, and from the very first day, it has felt like home. This is a quiet, fresh, and welcoming community where you can truly relax and enjoy life. The leasing office team goes above and beyond- a special thank you to Lacey, our amazing property manager, as well as Mike, Lauren, and River, and the new associates who have joined. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care make every interaction a joy and really set The Brook apart. The apartments themselves are modern, bright, and thoughtfully designed, and the community feels safe, peaceful and inviting. Living here has brought me so much comfort and happiness, and I'm incredibly grateful to be a part of it. If you're looking for a place to call home, not just an apartment. I wholeheartedly recommend The Brook. It's more than a living space-its a community where you can feel seen, supported, and at peace.
