Living here was an absolute nightmare. There were roaches, mice, and trash everywhere. Maintenance was basically nonexistent, and the water would get shut off two or three times every week. The AC would stop working during the summer heat, and the heat would stop working during the winter.

We had the worst experience living here and will no longer be living here very soon. First of all the service and communication here is very poor, and often times rude and slow. We would call multiple times inquiring about issues that need to be fixed as well as plumbing repairs, however we were met with: “You don’t need to keep calling” from an employee (Justin). The service from them felt rushed and lackluster. The management here acknowledges our concerns but does absolutely NOTHING to fix it. That is just the tip of the iceberg. The halls are extremely dirty and often littered with trash. The trash room, although cleaned occasionally reeks of a foul stench. Often times there will be cockroaches in the halls and inside the room. Furthermore there are flies everywhere!! Lastly, Parking has and always will be a nightmare. There are few unreserved spots in such a shady parking lot and you have to walk very far. Overall, I would not recommend Eagle Rock to anyone but I would recommend Eagle Rock to hire employees that actually enjoy their job. I guess you get what you paid for.

Endless water outages, power outages, a/c never works, issues never get resolved by maintenance! Dont believe what they tell you to sign a contract.

These apartments are horrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone move here, unless DESPERATE. Over the years these apartments have become an embarrassment. The sanitation is extremely terrible!! There is always trash in the lobby and outside of the building, which you can smell. I have seen more mice, rats and roaches than ever before!! Not to mention, mold throughout the apartment/building. The trash rooms are sickening. There have been complaints about maintenance neglect, noisy neighbors, stolen packages, sanitation issues, but no action is seemingly being taken. There is no security on the premises, which expose higher safety risks. Years ago, i would definitely recommend moving to this building. There was overnight security, policies and rules in place for parking, trash, etc. People used to call this building a hotel, because of how well the building was taken care of and how polite the staff were. The new company cares more about the "aesthetics" of the building and moving people in, than taking care of the much bigger existing issues.

Beware of misleading website listings. I applied for an advertised 1-bedroom apartment that showed as available on their website and paid the $50 application fee plus the $200 holding fee. Shortly after, the leasing office called to inform me that someone else had applied minutes before me, so the unit was no longer available. They then tried to offer me a smaller studio apartment for a much higher price ($1,500/month). Due to their system lag and poor communication, I lost time, money, and another housing opportunity I had lined up. Extremely disappointing experience. Make sure to double-check unit availability directly with the office before paying any non-refundable fees!
