this place is PERFECT! if you love…
- great spot near campus, ~15 min walk to class
- single rooms w/ queen beds and big individual bathrooms
- parking garage under the building
- pets allowed
- spacious apartments w/ high ceilings
- gym inside the building
- rolling bins and movers for an efficient move-in
- nice, friendly front desk staff + management
then the main is the place for you!!
and, don’t forget their other AMAZING perks:
- NASTY residents that smoke cigs in stairwells and leave trash on the floor in halls+garage. i often found dog poop bags and fast food trash in garage
- management that bribes ppl for 5-star reviews and pretends to care about resident issues without actually doing anything when asked (i asked for trash cans in the garage 3x, told they were working on it, never got trash cans)
- not being able to open windows
- “vent fans” not sending kitchen fumes outside
- zero enforcement of handicap parking spots
- wafer-thin walls within apartments
- repeated wifi outages
- spotty cell signal inside
- gym lacking in weight equipment, no machines bolted down
- not having a desk+chair included
- “smart locks” on apartment+building doors that require an app and vary wildly in efficiency instead of key fobs/cards, while still having physical keys for rooms
- nothing, not even bins, for move-out, which is an insane rug pull and lack of continuity
overall, the space itself is nice, if inefficient in certain floor plans, and the location is great. however, hope your roommates are respectful of quiet hours because you WILL hear them, and be prepared to haul your desk, chair, kitchen shelving, and any other bulky items yourself when it comes time to move out, because you won’t even have bins. The Main is committed to giving a GREAT first impression, but not so much to maintaining it. not terrible, but not worth the minimum of $1400+ a month
2 years here and the internet is still terrible. Management has never thought to fix it despite constant complaints. Very disappointed.

The internet here is unbelievably unreliable. If you’re a student or work remotely, this place will make your life miserable. I couldn’t even do basic schoolwork.
I would not recommend living here.
I’ve lived here for 1 year, and the internet has been terrible since day one. It’s not even 1mb, so we can do anything. After 1 year, nothing has improved. Reliable internet is a basic necessity, especially for students. We depend on it for homework, work, online classes, and even exams. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay so much in rent and still deal with constant internet issues.
On top of that, the elevators break down far too often. For the price they charge, the management should be providing much better maintenance and basic services. It’s disappointing that such essential problems have been ignored for so long.
the only thing good about this place is its proximity to campus and the staff have always been nice. kitchen is really nice and bedrooms aren’t terribly small.
however, wifi is awful and never works. i absolutely lost my mind trying to talk to the wifi provider on at least 10 different occasions. sent messages to the main and never got a response. tons of extra fees so i’m paying an extra ~$230 - $250 each month than what rent actually is, (they charge for renters insurance they force you to get, plus admin fees for the online portal YOU HAVE TO USE, among other fees). the walls are literally cracking in some places, packages are constantly lost, it honestly sucks. online it looks so nice but in reality it just has too many issues to be worth the money. it should NOT be $3000 for a two bedroom apartment when so much is wrong. elevators broken a lot, people smoking in their rooms. some floors smell like weed or dog pee. trash rooms are right by elevators. did i mention terrible water pressure? and having to pay $100!!!!! for a new water filter for the fridge?
also not to mention your first rent payment only covers 2 weeks in august that you then have to pay again september 1st and so on. so you pay 12 months rent for 11.5 months.
honestly, this place could be great and maybe worth the price one day, but it’s just not right now. they have to fix a lot before i would ever come back, (hint: NEW WIFI PROVIDER.) but being so close to campus was pretty great.
ps, the amount of fake 5 star reviews is so sad.
