  Just had a fabulous tour of "Potomac Shores" with Rodney Barredo of Ryan Homes who sells the Ryan Homes "Mosaic" Collection of Condos there. The community is outstanding and Rodney is awesome. Go Check out the incredible Potamac Views!

  I live in the townhouse style condos, built by Ryan homes. I love the community but I’ve had my issues with the builder itself. There has been an issue with the folks living on the upper level, claiming to have a vibration on their floor when my A/C unit kicks on. The builder with a few so called experts have been in my home on three separate occasions over a one year time span and after the first two visits they couldn’t find anything wrong. The third visit prove to be the same, but weeks after the visit they called me. This was about three weeks ago and said that they found the problem and wanted to schedule a time to come in and cut up my ceiling to gain access to a line that they said was too tight to a joist and correct the problem. I asked how did they know this after not finding anything after the first two visits. He claimed that had another one covert on the third visit and this was the problem. I, of course did not want them to be cutting up my ceiling in a brand new house. They said they would accommodate me with any touch ups that may be needed. Wow, so because Ryan Homes made a mistake, I have to allow access for you to cut up my ceiling and you’re going to compensate me with touch ups. Crazy! The builder asked if June 25th was a good day. I said ok. They said they would confirm that date with the people upstairs and get back to me. I never heard anything back from them. Fast forward to today the 25th. I am at work and receive a text from the builder. I am outside your place, just waiting on the contractor. Excuse me? Did you ever confirm the date and time with me? No! This is terrible communication from the builder, not to mention the issue to be fixed was never anything I created, yet I have to be inconvenienced with poor quality, terrible communication and no compensation for my time over the last year. My only mistake was purchasing a Ryan Home. I understand that buying a new home may have some issues that need to be addressed but to come in and cut up my home for a problem I never created and to be jerked around with poor communication. Oh, and one more thing. If you have an issue, you have to work around their schedule, not yours. Apparently their time is more important Nathan yours and the only reason they have a job is because of home buyers like us. I hope when you read this review that you will consider if it’s really worth purchasing a Ryan Home.
