  My ac keeps breaking every 5 days and all they do is keep filling it with freon. They 💯 know it needs a new until. I would never recommend this complex to anyone

  Be careful before signing a lease here. Every time it’s time to renew, expect your rent to increase by $100–$300 or more. It’s become a complete money pit. The appliances are outdated, there have been flooding issues, and mold has been a concern in some apartments. Instead of addressing the real problems, they’re repainting the exterior but it’s like putting lipstick on a pig. For what they charge, it simply isn’t worth it. I would not recommend moving here.

  Exciting Changes in “Our Community in ALL areas!” Social, Interior, and External changes and “Come Grow with us and enjoy living at: Red Knot under Pegasus Management.”❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have lived at Red Knot at Edinburgh for 8 + years. Many people are unaware the property recently sold effective: November 21, 2025 from Breeden to Pegasus. This property was always maintained! But, we are now really seeing changes to the inside of the apartments, to the interior and exterior of the buildings, and the work going on with all lawn care!!!❤️ PEGASUS MANAGEMENT and Our PROPERTY MANAGER & OPERATIONS MANAGER-SARAH ADKINS, and her WHOLE FRONT OFFICE TEAM ( Karrah and Heather) are WORKING OVERTIME to take care of all of the issues they were left with!! Our Maintenance Team: CHRIS, JUSTIN, MIKE, and SUSIE are working as hard as they can to get to every work order completed as fast as they can!!! They have even acquired assistance from a sister facility to help with work orders!! As residents “WE ARE UPDATED CONSTANTLY,” on changes as we needed to be⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ! Maybe, some people are not reading their emails and community board to stay in the know. Changes are occurring daily for the Good of All.❤️ Sarah Adkins won: GOLD PLACE in PROPERTY and OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT under BREEDEN in year 2021! 🏆🏆🏆 As a community we have grown stronger and closer in this massive transformation! There is a strong peace in this community and we are all kind and care for each other❤️❤️❤️! Also, this property and buildings had never been pressured washed on the outside of the grain vinyl sliding and wooded portions of the porches, overhang and garages. Thank God, this management company tackled this project and got rid of hidden nasty bugs of all kinds. Then, they repainted these areas and blocked any new insects from entering back into the buildings! They have undertaken many things to improve this property!!! We have an Excellent Lawn Maintenance team weekly and spraying for unwanted bugs! Appliances and other things are being upgraded as needed. PEGASUS MANAGEMENT COMPANY came in with a vision and plan and they are ACHIEVING THEIR VISION and GOAL⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! The goal is to provide a GREAT Place to live and call home. We are in an Excellent School district with buses that come into the community to pickup and drop off for school. We are very centrally located to “Southside businesses, parks, and 2-different shipyards.” Also, all “regional hospitals and health clinics.” We have Walmart, MacDonalds, Target, Cracker Barrel, Home Depot, Cinema Cafe, and a car wash within walking distance. We are a very strong Pet Community and very fortunate to have an excellent veterinarian services within walking distance called: “Edinburgh Animal Hospital less than 4-minutes from our apartment complex.”❤️‍🔥 Come Grow with us! New changes are happening everyday and EXCITEMENT is in the AIR❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙏🏻. It is really is wonderful to be able to go to the front office and these ladies listen to our concerns and make necessary changes as needed. The maintenance men do the same.   Red Knot is a beautifully kept gem in Southern Chesapeake that will steal your heart almost immediately. It's like you're staying at a high-class resort. From the gym, swimming pool, grills, fire pits, pool tables, car wash/vacuum station, and tv's set up around the complex, you'll never be bored. With that, you also have Walmart, Target, Cinema Cafe, and plenty of food options all within half a mile. You may look at the prices, and say "sh*t, that's expensive..." but it's well worth it. Maintenance has always responded quickly and efficiently although in my two years here, I've only had two issues. The office staff has gone through some changes, but I can always count on the OG staff there to help me with anything I need. The only thing that I could complain about it the rent going up when re-signing the lease, but that was expected. If you choose to live here, you won't regret it!
