  If i could leave negative stars, i would for this community (LOMOND VILLAGE) in Manassas and the HOA. conveniently they will ask you to move your over sized package from the front door while you are at work or tow your car because it's an inconvenience to the construction crew while the same rule does not apply to construction crew even if they are blocking the road or your driveway. Besides lack of reciprocating their policy. Ryan homes has used every inch of available land to build so there is no parking. streets are tight. on a clear street 2 cars passing by feels like a trust exercise.

  I truly wish I could give zero stars. I lived in a building managed by SCS for over five years and I genuinely have very little positive to say. There is significant property manager turnover, a clear lack of high- and mid-level managerial support for the property managers, and little to no accountability or professionalism when building-related issue are mismanaged. One property manager likely cost our building several thousand dollars due to mismanagement of a water-related issue. I've tried to have conversations with their leadership and it's clear there is little to no desire to do or be better. Please do not believe the positive reviews, they're like a part of a review competition SCS has their property managers do to boost their ratings (I was asked to do one years ago).

  Melissa Gladden at SCS is a true gem of a property manager. She has been responsive and understands the concerns of our community. She has committed to ensuring all the necessary projects get done within our community and we have seen many great things happen since she took over. As a homeowner, I have especially appreciated her customer service which includes quick response times and always in a compassionate and empathetic tone. After feeling ignored and neglected by our last property manager, I have felt cared for and in great hands with Melissa. Every community should have property manager like Melissa!!!

  Highly unprofessional company who NEVER answers their phone and gives a ridiculous and phony excuse when asked about it. You will have more luck calling Uzbekistan than getting hold of these people. And I sincerely doubt that they care.

  Karen Vargas, Community Manager for Harbor Reserve (Cascade Landing Property), has been tenative, expeditious, and professional each time I have put in a request for something involving my property where I needed support or find a remedy to a property issue. Equally so with simple inquiries, she has provided assistance and a solution readily each time. Her work ethic and attentativeness deserves to be recognized. Thank you.
