  I have lived here through multiple management changes, and unfortunately the maintenance service has gotten worse with each one. I’ve submitted multiple maintenance requests that either went unanswered or took far too long to address. One ongoing issue has been my toilet. I submitted two maintenance requests because it wasn’t working properly, but no one came, so I had to temporarily fix it myself just so I could use it. When maintenance finally showed up, they said there was nothing wrong because the toilet was working at that moment. I explained that it was only working because I had temporarily fixed it myself, and that the original problem was still happening. Instead of investigating further, they simply marked it as fixed and left. The issue still hasn’t been properly resolved. There are also maintenance issues throughout the apartment, including damage to the ceiling (see photo), that have not been addressed. It’s frustrating to pay rent and have ongoing problems ignored. I hope management improves communication, follows up on maintenance requests, and takes residents’ concerns seriously.

  I was pleasantly surprised when I stopped by to view an apartment. When I arrived, the leasing office was extremely busy, and I briefly considered leaving and scheduling an appointment for another day. However, both ladies in the office, whom I believe were Lidia and Jackie, handled the crowd with patience, professionalism, and efficiency. Within five minutes, Jackie greeted me and took the time to thoroughly explain the property, requirements, and qualification process. She was incredibly knowledgeable, genuine, and welcoming—qualities that can be hard to find when apartment shopping. To my surprise, Jackie also took me on a tour of the community. She did an outstanding job, sharing information about the property's history, nearby restaurants, community centers, and all the amenities available to residents. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail truly stood out and made a lasting impression. Jackie was an absolute gem, and thanks to the excellent customer service I received, I will definitely be considering leasing here when my current lease is up. Highly recommended!

  The office staff at Gates of Ballston is wonderful. They are warm and friendly each and every visit to the leasing office. Thanks Carlos.

  Really disappointed I would highly recommend not to rent at the Gates of Ballston. The service it’s awful we have been calling several times for them to come and fix the Loundry same with the microwave which they have replaced it until almost a year telling them.
