Outstanding Service at Eagle Rock Apartments I had an outstanding experience working with Cynthia, Alicia, and LaNeyce at Eagle Rock Apartments on Columbia Pike. From the very beginning, they were incredibly helpful, professional, and genuinely caring throughout my search for a new home. They took the time to understand what I was looking for, answered all my questions, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Their communication, patience, and willingness to assist really stood out to me. I truly appreciate all the help and support they provided in finding my new home. Thank you, Cynthia, Alicia, and LaNeyce, for going above and beyond! I highly recommend the Eagle Rock Apartments team to anyone looking for a new home. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This complex could not be a worse experience. My fiancee and I have lived at this location for 3 years now, there have been issues that have come up, but been quickly resolved. But since Eagle Rock took over. They have been a an utter disgrace. Our ac unit has been broken for a month now, after getting the run around and trying everything but replacing the ac unit, it continues to be unresolved. I BEG THEM DAILY TO SIMPLY LET US OUT OF OUR LEASE but they are literally holding us captive in a literal hell hole, we are confided to our bedroom with our apartment getting to temperatures of 80 degrees. Energy bill is $400 + when asked about a credit off the rent. They pretty much laughed in my face. I IMPLORE YOU DO NOT LIVE HERE, if you have an issue come up, THEY WILL NOT FIX IT. OH AND BLACK MOLD IN VENTS 😅😅😅

After reading many of the recent reviews, I can honestly say my experience was very similar. The biggest issue was the transition to Eagle Rock management. My roommate and I already had renters' insurance for the entire year, but because the new management company didn't have our documents on file, they started charging us for their insurance. While they did send an email, it was easily buried among the flood of transition emails. Something this important should have been communicated more clearly through a phone call, text, or multiple reminders, if it wasn't turned in. To make matters worse, the amount they charged didn't even match what was stated in the email, and getting a refund was a frustrating process... The apartment itself was spacious, but living on the ground floor meant we constantly dealt with bugs and eventually large roaches. We also reported water underneath the flooring, but management wasn't concerned. The community was hit or miss. Some neighbors were friendly, while others weren't. We had an upstairs neighbor who regularly blasted loud music, and another resident caused a scene while we were simply loading furniture during move-out. Speaking of moving out, I specifically emailed ahead explaining I had a limited lunch break for my inspection and needed someone there on time. Despite that, no one showed up as scheduled, and I had to call the leasing office twice before someone finally arrived. I do feel somewhat bad for the staff because they're dealing with the fallout of the management transition, but management should be advocating for residents and communicating better. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Eagle Rock Columbia Pike under the current management. There are much nicer apartments in Arlington with better management. I'd recommend looking at places like Jasper at Columbia Pike or some of the other nearby communities before signing a lease here.

So my apartment's AC broke on July 1st, 13 days ago - Eagle Rock Properties at Columbia Pike. I put in a ticket that day and maintenance put in a temp window unit on the 2nd. A repair guy came on the Friday the 3rd and said they couldn't fix it and needed to order parts and they'd probably be able to fix it on Monday. Also, several of my neighbors are in the same boat - in fact maintenance told me they ran out of temp window units. I talked to the leasing office today and they said they have a meeting with corporate today to discuss ordering new ACs and the price it'll cost, and that it'll be at least another week before they even get the parts to fix it. Now 13 days later, I still don't have central air, just the window unit in my bedroom, same for my neighbors whose ACs are also still broken, we're about to hit another heat wave, and they haven't even ordered the parts to fix it yet. The guy on the phone said the only thing I can do is call the Eagle Rock Properties corporate office. So I will, demand a rent reduction for the month, and post my experience on every apartment rating website I can find. UPDATE: They finally fixed it. It took 27 days.

It's been a few months since Eagle Rock Apartments took over the management of Columbia Crossing at Columbia Pike, and the improvement has been significant. We had decided not to renew our lease because of our experience with the previous management, particularly the former manager, but the new team has completely changed our perspective. The management and maintenance staff have been responsive, professional, and welcoming. While there have been a few minor communication gaps during the transition, that's understandable with new management, and I'm confident they'll be resolved over time. We truly appreciate the positive changes and look forward to seeing the community continue to improve.
