Losing privacy: Asking banking login information.
This place will ask your bank account login information through a third party during application, even after you send them paystubs, bank statement and offer letter via email and during application. They also downplay that some of these systems are very secured given on these tech era, which gives a notice their ignorance on the system and technology. It seems to me these southern towers and their systems are insecured and can't even do their job to verify anything by themselves, proving their lacking in capability of doing their jobs and then blaming everything on system. If you lose your bank account, money and privacy, they will not take accountability in future. So future applicants, think about your privacy and security before applying here.

After I submitted my application and paid the fees, my leasing agent, Ashley, completely stopped responding—calls, texts, emails, and messages left with colleagues all went ignored. I've made the 80‑minute round trip to the office four times just to get basic questions answered, and I'm still left in the dark.
Today, I came in person to view the specific unit before signing the lease. Ashley wasn't there—and hadn't bothered to reply to my emails or calls about the visit. Another agent showed me the unit instead, and I was disappointed to find the layout was completely different from what Ashley had described and shown me in the unit she claimed was a replica of this one. I asked to switch units and requested not to work with Ashley anymore due to the ongoing unresponsiveness.
The agent's response? Come back tomorrow to view the other unit and do the paperwork. This happened at 1 PM—plenty of time to handle it same day. Instead, they chose to waste yet another day of my time, just like they did before with simple questions that could have been answered in a 5‑minute phone call, text, or email—all of which they refused to respond to.
I'll be canceling my application tomorrow and taking my business elsewhere. I lived at Ashlawn years ago and was pleased with their attentiveness back then—both during leasing and throughout my time there. I thought this would be a similar experience, but unfortunately, it's been the complete opposite.

It's a shitty place. The rental office lies a lot; they take the money and then don't give it back.

This is probably what’s causing the mice infestation in the building. They’re not keeping up with cleaning the property and they need to do an outside treatment for mice. I reported them because mice carry diseases and are a health hazard. I had to clean mice droppings from my bedding and floors. They ignore maintenance and pest control requests so if you have any problems you’ll pretty much be on your own. Just a heads up before you decide to live in this dump.

I've been living here since 2022, and I haven't submitted more than five work orders. Recently, on Thursday, June 25, 2026, I put in a work order for my bathroom ceiling bulb to be changed because it was burnt out. However, by Monday, June 29, 2026, nobody had contacted me or shown up to address this issue. I decided to visit the management office to follow up. I spoke with Ms. Keisha, who called the maintenance manager. He suggested that I change the bulb myself, but I told her that I couldn't do that.
Following this, the maintenance manager arrived within 15 minutes and immediately gave me attitude, insisting that I should be able to change it myself. There seems to be a lack of accountability here, as maintenance personnel enter apartments without permission, even when it’s not an emergency. I also witnessed the maintenance manager arguing with another resident in the elevator and displaying a similarly rude demeanor.
There is no accountability or service here, which is why many residents are trying to leave. They do not care about the residents’ concerns. Instead of offering an apology, they began to bully me, insisting that I should be able to change the lightbulb myself.
