  Sugar House by Urbana has no human management on site. There’s trash that sits in the hallways and makes the apartment complex smell. No one answers your phone if you have questions on your lease or need lease renewal. Everything is AI and no one actually answers your questions. We’ve been trying to get a hold of someone from the company for weeks now. Oh. And garage remains broken. Seals on windows are awful so so many bugs come in to your apartment. There’s no maintenance guy pretty much. They won’t fix the washer dryer which you have to turn on/off the electrical switch breaker every time just to do a wash or dry. The flooring and baseboards are warped and they won’t fix it. Some of the granite on the kitchen countertop has some damage. I would not recommend living here. We had neighbors try to move out and it was a legal battle because of the negligence of the landlord.

  I’ve lived all over the country in many different apartments which have been run by big corporate outfits and individual landlords. Sugarhouse Apartments is the best I’ve lived in so far. Pros: - great location - attentive staff- if something’s wrong they fix it immediately (s/o to Jose) and ask for feedback on what they could do better - while there is rent increases, they’re reasonable and much less than other properties in the area - safe and secure building - they genuinely want you to be a resident for the long term and make it your home - residents are all great and the building is quiet Cons: - rent increases always suck, but again, very reasonable
