Previously posted a review, but creating a new revision. This doesn't come easy since new management has made some positive changes to improve the resident experience. Main reason for this being parking, and the requirements being asked of residents. It's too much and too tedious and time consuming daily to not say something about. Residents can't park on the first floor between 10 AM-9 PM. Ok, except when my wife comes back from work after 9, the basement is full nearly because people can't park above during the day. So she parks on the first floor often. Now it becomes our problem to move our car to the basement daily to ensure compliance with the policy. Even though she leaves for work at 12, nope, can't park there, need to move...for guests that come onto the property and valets that routinely drive in bike lanes, create close head on collisions, run stop signs, etc. I have never had so much drama and frustration as I have parking a vehicle. If I have to often get up to move my vehicle to the basement almost every day, there's a problem, and it's not my problem, it's a policy problem. Residents are charged $100 per month for parking, this is not a good policy, period. It's done assumedly at the request of businesses in the district so guests can get easier parking. Why would I spend money at any of these businesses if they force me to move my car to avoid being towed in a building I live in? Plainly absurd. I've had to do this at least 15-20 times since the policy was enforced. Previously under new management, there have been situations and bright spots where it looks like trust and change will come in, and I have tried very hard to give credit where credit is due. This parking policy, its enforcement, and the constant day to day "chores" I need to do because of it reverses that. There is no justification for restricting resident parking when its paid for. This brings back older experiences under the previous management team where there was no communication, no care to listen to feedback, and as long as people are partying late at night and the businesses like Urban Hill or Melancholy are making money, then resident concerns are not addressed in any way. We're moving out at the end of our term, and while not the absolute worst apartment complex I've been in, it is certainly not high on the list. The rent is ridiculously high compared to our next apartment, fees are charged so much and are out of control, maybe around $300 of our monthly bill are just fees alone. We had a problem with our sink last year and the hot water so we called maintenance, they "could not do anything about it because the building is s***" their words exactly not mine. Not sure if he was just frustrated or if he meant it, but still. Security from CBI does nothing to fix issues. People smoke weed, get drunk, have parties, play loud music. It feels much more like a college dorm than a quiet business centric environment in the advertising. We transferred units under old management to get away from neighbors harassing us, we were only given a day to complete the move. I busted my back getting it done and was in bed for 3 days. Did anyone care to do anything about it? No. No one reached out to us to apologize for not giving us a lease for over 3 weeks (we only got it 2 days before the transfer, and the staff argued with us that they we were being unreasonable in demanding a mandatory legal document for living in a apartment...sure) or me busting my back to meet their ridiculous timelines. Is anyone going to do anything about the parking situation? No. I'm over having to express the same concerns that cause us problems over and over again. When my time, money, and stress is affected, we have to move out. Maybe there are changes in the pipeline to improve the experience, but I think at this point its too little too late. If I have to get up every day and check where my car is parked in my own building so I don't get towed, there is a problem here.

Nice location. Nice apartment. Nice amenities. Yet nothing perfect. I've put in 3 request to fix water and ice maker within the refrigerator and it hasn't been repaired correctly. I requested to move parking space one slot over. I have 2 vehicles. When parking both vehicles I block in the car next to my parking space. Being considering, I won't do that again. But thankful that I have a roof over my head.

I’ve been living at Post District since March and wanted to share how pleased I’ve been with my experience here. Coming from Slate just a few blocks away, Post District has been a huge upgrade—from the amenities and pricing to the overall experience. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the front desk team. Every time I stop by, it doesn’t matter who is working—they’re always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help with whatever I need. Special shoutout to Kade, who went above and beyond helping me throughout the application process, and Michelle, who is always there to help and answer any questions I have. Having a team that is consistently friendly, responsive, and genuinely willing to help makes a huge difference and is a big part of why I’ve enjoyed living here so much. Highly recommend Post District!

I lived here for two years, and if I could rate Post zero stars I would (except for Kade and Hailey, they were both great!). The first year things were overall pretty good, enough to stay another year, but that's when things went downhill, with the grand finale of Post erroneously charging me over $4,000 in "early termination fees" when I gave notice! If you want to read more, here are some of the issues I faced: - I transferred apartments for my second year and they messed up the move-in date. They called me on the date I was supposed to move and said it wasn't ready but would be the next day. - Spoiler alert, the apartment wasn't ready when I moved in. Sticky floors, cat litter and pet hair on the baseboards/floor, sticky cooking residue in the kitchen and spices still in a drawer, water damage to one of the windows in the living room & the kitchen floor, door knobs falling off the closet, etc. - I gave a 60+ day notice because I wasn't certain what my plans were for the future. I was charged more than $4,000 in "early termination fees," which was automatically taken from my account on the 2nd of June, causing overdraft + interest fees. I didn't get that money back until the 29th June. I wasn't terminating early, just giving notice. - I had a bird living in the vent above my head for the last three months of my lease. At first, maintenance told me it was "dryer lint" or something else, but eventually put up a game cam and caught the bird on camera. They put mesh in the pipes somewhere, but the bird was still living there when I moved out. - I paid for a reserved parking spot and people consistently parked in my spot. When I tried to get them removed, the towing company said I needed management approval, but it was after hours, so no one could approve it. - People (without plates or placards) are constantly parked in the handicap spots, leaving those spots unavailable to residents and guests who need them. - there are doors on the property that were broken for over a year (before my second year of leasing, and still broken at my move out). - pet owners don't seem to respect the space, as there is often pee in the lobbies or the elevator floor, or right outside the main entrances, including the day I moved out.

I have lived here since May 2025, and cannot recommend this place enough. Here is why: Michelle is a stellar landlord and a very kind, yet wonderfully professional woman. It is clear that she brings an immense amount of experience in leasing, leadership, and more to the table, which translates into an orderly, but friendly community. I have enjoyed our conversations - very down-to-earth, while she also carefully utilizes her time as she works hard for all of us - somewhere around 450 units, I believe. And that's just part of the picture. Ryan works hard behind the scenes, handling a ton of crucial administrative tasks most of us don't know about or see. He maintains professionalism and kindness - even when he is facing strain and pressure from his work duties. He is very responsive to emails - even while nimbly handling a huge workload every single week, month after month. I also love his sense of humor. Lol. The other office staff are funny, non-judgmental, and listen as best as they can, even in complex situations. I have enjoyed a few nonchalant conversations, appreciating how attentive to detail they are about my requests. They genuinely want to help, even on the busier days where other professionals in their shoes would likely get impatient or rude. I have always been grateful to know that when I come in, they are there to assist - not judge. Last, but definitely not least, there's Kade. He has been beyond patient and beyond kind. Hopefully without sounding like I'm gushing... I can confidently assure you that words fail me for his exceptional customer service. If Kade can't answer a question about Post District, I'm honestly unsure who can! Lol. He clearly loves his job. He has gone far above and beyond to be supportive, helpful, and resourceful to me. I respect Kade a great deal, and am inspired by his example of human goodness. That holds true for the others here as well. I never knew a community of people could be so, well... good? Awesome? Connected? All of the above, definitely. While it may seem like I am just some starry-eyed resident writing an over-the-top review, I'm actually just being sincere and real. The staff at Post and the place itself aren't perfect, but they're a lot better than what I have previously experienced. Speaking as someone who has dealt with a lot of crap before and since moving here - in his private life, not at Post - the staff have completely changed my perspective on what it means to serve people in the leasing world. I used to think - based on legitimate experiences, I may add - that leasing office agents were just tired, impatient, and sometimes cruel people who couldn't wait to get you out of the office. But after being at Post District for over a year, I have realized that they are human beings who care. And after all the support they have bent over backwards to offer, I am humbled and frankly I am stunned. Thank you, Michelle, Ryan, Kade, and everyone else at Post - including maintenance and cleaning staff! As for the amenities, I love the gym, yoga studio, hot tub, and pool. They are typically in good order and get repaired as needed. The neighbors here are friendly, good people (I wish I was more socially engaged with them!) and the location is ideal in downtown Salt Lake City - close to the arts, local events, places to eat out at, and much more. Hope all of this is encouraging and helpful to all who read it. Cheers, everyone!
