The move in was about what I expected given that we are a couple in our 60s and the apartment is on the third floor and there isn't an elevator. We are a bit disappointed with the plumbing problems we have encountered and I don't think the HVAC is functioning properly it's a little smaller than the last place we were and we need to explore additional storage options. Otherwise so far so good

I have lived in this building for a little over a year now and I have absolutely loved it. It is such a great location, super affordable, has great parking, and whenever there is a problem the maintenance team responds promptly.

After living here for some years I can’t help but notice the general lack of quality in nearly every aspect of these apartments. The carpeting is so cheap that after one year of use it became completely flattened down and coarse. Just from walking on it. In our kitchen the laminate wood flooring has been stained with paint splashes the entire time we’ve been living here. It always looks dirty no matter how much we sweep and mop. Additionally our cabinets have been dented and have similar paint splashes. Our bathtub has been stained orange the entire time we’ve lived here and we’ve reported it multiple times with no avail. It is stained from the ac unit dripping into our bathtub maintenance has come out 3+ times and have only put a bandaid on the issue. We have noticed mold in our apartments around the windowsills. We reported this issue and we were told someone would come out to look at this, nobody ever did. We reported it a second time and were told this kind of thing just happens during the winter months. They are aware that there is mold and they ignore it. We reported that our ice maker in the freezer made foul tasting cubes- once again nobody ever did anything about that. So we can’t use it at all even though it takes up half of the freezer. Our toilet appears to be from the 90’s and has had several issues as well. I could live with these issues if the apartments were rented out for what they are worth. Unfortunately that is not the case. They are charging luxury apartment prices for very basic level housing. A one bedroom apartment goes for about 1,400 a month but with the hidden fees it adds up to about 1,700-1,800. I understand that this is a good area and I’ve genuinely enjoyed living in this area. But you can find higher quality housing very easily nearby and often for less than what they charge here. For anyone who is considering moving here I would suggest thoroughly looking through the reviews. You will find multiple people reporting the same issues. If you want to live in sugar house continue your search elsewhere. You will be better off.

I came to the open house to view available apartments. I tend to read reviews of and tour places I would like to live before moving. I got a few calls from the apartment complex management after I asked for more information on the place and was told there would be an open house and tours. The reviews of the apartments have been mostly negative from what I saw, but I decided to come to the open house anyway. As soon as I walked in, they were already not doing well. I went to the leasing office and there were a few people who seemed to be working that were just standing around talking behind the desk. I waited on them so I could ask questions, but they did not even acknowledge me so I ended up giving myself a tour. Not horrible, but could be better. I went to all the apartments they had marked for touring. Half of them were locked and had no way of accessing them. These locked ones were the ones I wanted to seriously look at. If it’s an open house, I would think all the available apartments should be open if you aren’t acknowledging the people touring in the first place. I went back to the front desk so I could ask for more details on the locked apartments. I once again stood there and waited. I was acknowledged and told he would help me in a moment. But then before assisting me or reaching out to another person working, they just left? For a place that kept repeat calling me to come tour after telling them I would come to the open house, this was incredibly strange. Definitely not the kind of apartment management I would want to rent under. For the place itself, it’s okay. Of what I saw, the clubhouse was nice and the location is really a good selling point. One or two of the apartments I walked through seemed to be remodeled in the past ten years or so. The apartments that had not been remodeled recently had appliances that were out dated and the apartments did not seem to have been touched in a while. There was a weird smell in all the apartments as well. Overall, for the great location, the prices they are upfront about, and the amenities, the place seemed okay. However, I don’t know if all it is worth an outdated apartment and poor management.
